prézli Posted March 21 Posted March 21 12 years later, it still sounds timeless. Also, an amazing career move which didn't pay off. She totally found her sound. Gays will go to hell for letting this flawless album flop. 1 3

Mephisto Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Such a great album, Mad At Me and Blame Game are better than some discographies! Also is it just me or do a lot of her songs sound like they could be done by Carly Rae Jepsen?

Gays will go to hell for letting this flawless album flop. Amazing album, 10/10. Blame Game is genuinely one of the best pop songs of all time, it reminds me of Cher's Believe in terms of its instrumental but updated. Lighting Strikes gave Taylor Swift's Red singles a run for their money, Music To Make Boys Cry is Emotion-level pop perfection (and Diana sounds so much like Carly on it), and Cinderella's instrumental is so riveting. Even the acoustic bonus songs are so brilliant, a truly excellent piece of work. Diana released only two albums but they were truly such great albums.
paper moon Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Boy in Paris has stayed on repeat in this household for 12 years now. 1
coney island Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I haven't heard of this artist before so I'm very happy for finding this thread. This album is so good and it's brand new for me. I do have to say I do blame the gays for letting this slip by. Hell is deserved. 1
