Vixen Eyes Posted March 4 Posted March 4 (edited) before i am crucified, this album is the Bey album that is closest to my heart since i became a fan of Bey because of the Video Phone remix with Gaga. i always preferred this album (and B'Day) since then up to today. though what sparked this thread is, i just got this Japan Platinum Editon CD in the mail today when i got home from work and i have to say there are ZERO skips, even the remixes. (though the Kanye remix was always a skip lol) https://www.discogs.com/release/5278357-Beyoncé-I-Am-Sasha-Fierce Spoiler CD1-1 If I Were A Boy CD1-2 Halo CD1-3 Disappear CD1-4 Broken-Hearted Girl CD1-5 Ave Maria CD1-6 Smash Into You CD1-7 Satellites CD1-8 That's Why You're Beautiful CD1-9 Save The Hero CD1-10 If I Were A Boy (Maurice Joshua Mojo UK Remix) CD1-11 Halo (Dave Audé Club Remix) CD1-12 Broken-Hearted Girl (Catalyst Remix) CD2-1 Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) CD2-2 Radio CD2-3 Diva CD2-4 Sweet Dreams CD2-5 Video Phone CD2-6 Hello CD2-7 Ego CD2-8 Scared Of Lonely CD2-9 Why Don't You Love Me CD2-10 Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) (DJ Escape & Tony Coluccio Remix - Club Version) CD2-11 Diva (Karmatronic Club Remix) CD2-12 Ego (OK DAC Remix) CD2-13 Sweet Dreams (Harlan Pepper & AG III Remix) CD2-14 Ego (Remix) DVD-1 If I Were A Boy DVD-2 Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) DVD-3 Diva DVD-4 Halo DVD-5 Broken-Hearted Girl DVD-6 Ego (Remix) DVD-7 Ego (Fan Exclusive) DVD-8 Sweet Dreams DVD-9 Behind The Scenes: The Videos Edited March 4 by Vixen Eyes 4 1
liammmmacbtw Posted March 4 Posted March 4 that's why you're beautiful, radio, disappear, satellites, smash into you, broken hearted girl... pop girls WISH they had these in their catalog 2
itshyolee Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I know this album is dragged a lot, but it has some Bey essentials tbh. Sweet Dreams is one of the best pop songs ever made like 2 3
Damien M Posted March 4 Posted March 4 SO GOOD Disappear Smash Into You Hello Halo Sweet Dreams DIVAAA Her IMPERIAL era 4
J-esper Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I always had a love/hate relationship with it as an 'album', because as a body of work it lacks in her overall discography, especially since she let go of the double disc idea for the repackage. Which made it a playlist. I love the music and the era itself though. Classics like Halo, Single Ladies, If I Were a Boy, Sweet Dreams and Diva. Bops like Radio, Why Don't You Love Me. Career highlights like Smash Into You. The beautiful Scared Of Lonely and Hello. Also this reminds me that I Am...Yours need a streaming release 1
RussianRoulette Posted March 4 Posted March 4 It's simply her best album. After 4, she became insufferable. Nobody does it like Beyonce in the 00's. 3 1 1
coney island Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I'm a big fan of I AM side, along with Diva, Sweet Dreams and Scared of Lonely. 1

4Real Posted March 4 Posted March 4 It does have some good moments (and some terrible ones) but i think the production sounds so dated now that it's hard to go back to it
prettyinpink940 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 This album will always have a special place in my heart. I know a lot of people call it dated or whatever, but it has so many classics and one of my fave Beyonce song ever (Smash Into You). This whole era was an EVENT. She was EVERYWHERE. You really had to be there. Also I will never forget that on April 28, 2009 as I was on my way back from school, I just randomly saw Beyonce walk the streets of Vienna. What a time to be alive. 2
byzantium Posted March 4 Posted March 4 This is one of my favorite Beyonce albums. It has some of her biggest and most memorable records to date. I wish we got more albums like this from her. 1
Pheromosa Posted March 4 Posted March 4 It's a great and well crafted album but you dodo heads insist its her worst and she listened to you 1
Onyxmage Posted March 4 Posted March 4 One of her best albums and one of the best albums of the 2000s. 1

50thStateofMind Posted March 4 Posted March 4 It's a cute album. Her worst, but beyonces worst is better than a lot of other girls 1
lonnie Posted March 4 Posted March 4 While it's nowhere near her best album it was a really fun era. Sweet Dreams will always have a place in my heart. 1
Slap Posted March 4 Posted March 4 This album reminds me of Britney's Circus, both great albums but in terms of themes and consistency they pale in comparison to cohesive masterpieces like 4/Bday and Blackout/ITZ. I can't stand If I Were A Boy, I didn't even like Single Ladies when it came out (I was wrong about that one lol) but I was glad when she released Sweet Dreams. I like Diva now, but at the time it felt a bit generic and songs like Video Phone… well I have no idea why she released as a single. However I loved Halo from the first moment I heard it, it was a classic. I went to the tour for this album as well and she was insanely talented especially vocally.
