One Dance and See You Again didnt top airplay on its 9th/10th week at #1....which Despacito is going to achieve..

They may not have been on its 9th or 10th but it was definitely after it's fifth week. You was just speaking as if this is some sort of anomaly which it really isn't. If One Dance topped airplay on it's 6th or 7th that doesn't make much difference.

What you're describing as so rare really isn't especially with how BB has put so much more weight on streaming.

It didnt happened so definitely theres a difference. Both topped radio earlier than Despacito.

Didnt Billboard influence sales? More? Its just streaming is just continuing to grow..Well thats just it. Despacito will be the first to achieve on its stay on the #1 and future hits may follow the pattern later.

Gangnam Style  (#2)

The most robbed hit because streaming was disregarded on its time.

Biggest chart disappointment this year so far is I Feel It Coming. Don't understand how it wasn't a #1 smash.

I totally agree about Worth It and You Know You Like It!

Other ones are Show Me, Exchange, Turn Down For What and Really Really. They all did well (especially Turn Down For What), but I wanted them to do better. I would've liked Prayer In C to do a bit better as well.

I'm going to stop before I start thinking of dozens more lol.

all of taylor's songs should be #1s. so that.

ready for august when She comes to take what's Hers.

Worth It is so devistating :frown:it deserved to be at least top 10 maybe even top 5

One Last Time & Into You were both robbed from #1 and are Ari's best songs ever

Still Into You peaked @ 24? :eek:I didn't follow charts back then and that song felt huge

also I'll never get over PITUSA & We Can't Stop being blocked :weeps:

Wow at Wild Thoughts debut...

It got a lot of radio support and it seems good, could be like a Starboy/That's What I Like and tops hot 100 maybe in 5-8 weeks...

Yup it was definitely a pretty big radio hit, iirc it made it to #11 on radio which is pretty big! the song definitely deserved top 20 at the very least.

I really wanted "Lights" by Ellie Goulding to go #1...it had such a slow climb up the charts, but got blocked @ #2 by damn Flo-rida :grump:

Kinda the same thing with "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons...it deserved to go #1 as well after clawing its way up the Hot 100 even though it peaked @ #3. :katie:

Not to mention the #1's that got away by Rihanna had she or her collaborator promoted, or discounted their sh*t! :)

Stay, 45S, TIWYCF, LOTB being examples...
