Cruel Summer Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Hummingbird Heartbeat not being an 8+ week #1 smash with record-shattering radio numbers and huge digital sales is a crime and a missed opportunity 2

Circle the Drain is like the only One of the Boys successors. It's a great song but definitely doesn't really fit the Teenage Dream vibe. Peacock is kind of iconic but I'd have to agree Hummingbird Heartbeat. I never understood Dressin Up. It's unlistenable for me.
UnusualBoy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Hummingbird Heartbeat, it would've been all over radio. Peacock is platinum while just being an album track so it would've just done great too.
JackOfHearts Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Dressin Up! I heard the demo, loved it so much, and held my breath for so long hoping she'd release it. I think there's a part on the studio version where they really didn't know what to do to round out the song, so it got relegated to an album track and never got the MV it deserved. It could have been so fun. I saw someone else mention it could have been remixed like they did to ET, and that would have been fine too.
