nostalgia Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Hollywood, fashion, and the entertainment industries seem to be warming up to Donald Trump in his second term, a shift that's hard to ignore. Mainstream companies and celebrities, who once shied away from aligning with him, are now either openly supportive or subtly signaling their approval. Whether it's attending Trump-affiliated events, collaborating with his brand, or making cryptic posts online, the tide is turning in ways that would've seemed unthinkable a few years ago. The big question is: which major celebrity will be next to embrace or normalize Trump? Pop culture watchers can't help but wonder about Gwen Stefani, the pop icon who, according to some reports, was partly why Trump decided to enter politics in the first place. She's already made her way into a more conservative-friendly space with her country music pivot and high-profile relationship with Blake Shelton. Is this a sign of her leaning toward Trump, or are we reading too much into it? It wouldn't be shocking, but it might feel like a turning point if Gwen—or someone like her—makes a more explicit statement of support. Her image has always been about reinvention, but aligning with Trump would undoubtedly cause waves. The shift in Hollywood and entertainment is subtle but growing, and it feels like the narrative is being shaped before our eyes. For better or worse, Trump's influence on pop culture seems far from over.
OrgVisual Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I mean, 60% of Americans voted for Trump so there are more Trumpies out there than you thought 3

He didn't even win 50% of the vote. Edited 6 hours ago by Onyxmage 6
OrgVisual Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago 3 minutes ago, Onyxmage said: No they didn't. 100 million Americans didn't vote. 1/5th of Americans voted for Trump and a little less than that voted against him. Nowhere near 60% voted for him. Trump won 77,284,118 votes, or 49.8 percent of the votes cast for president. That is the second highest vote total in U.S. history. More than 155 million Americans voted in 2024: 156,302,318 to be exact. That's the second largest total voter turnout in U.S. history in absolute terms. Okay I got the stats wrong but A LOT OF PEOPLE did vote for him
Cruel Summer Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I can't really put a name to it right now, but I feel like it's always the people who don't come to mind first, and who haven't spoken out against him, but who you think "yeah, I'm not surprised" when they say something or show up to an event in support. But there will be more over the next few years I'm sure. 5
Jotham Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I have a feeling it will be a male artist like Post Malone or Morgan Wallen.
Park Jinyoung Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Probs Anna Wintour when she caves and puts Melania on the cover of Vogue. 1
PerfectCure Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I don't think Gwen is a republican but even if she were, endorsing him would be (what has remained of her) career suicide. Most of her hype and streams come from nostalgia for her bubbly, colorful personality from the early 2000s which does in no way align with any republican beliefs. 2

Tm4074 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Career suicide if any of the pop girls did. Know your audience 101. 1
Trent W Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I agree it's a career suicide for anyone Honestly most might be embracing him in silence for tax cuts Let's also remember that Trump and his base are completely anti-hollywood and believe all these conspiracy theories that Hollywood is run by some imaginary evil entity There's literally no point on embracing him publicly from any angle. 1
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Carrie will probably be okay sadly because of her target audience. if a pop girl with a primarily liberal/gay audience ever came out her career is over though
