And both were meant to be on the album originally, right? They weren't tacked on later?  

 

According to Wikipedia, the lead single for Smile (2020) was Daisies! So I guess if we're adjusting the criteria to songs originally planned for the album, Katy's last album to have two songs reach 500M streams would be 2013's Prism. Embarrassing!

This isn't true. Never Really Over and Harley's in Hawaii were always meant to be included on Smile. Katy has explicitly stated this on multiple occasions. She had to restart the era with Daisies because of how much importance the song held to her as it was and still is an ode to her daughter. Also, the album got delayed several times because of the pandemic. Many albums were started again during this time. For example Justice by Justin Bieber or Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish.

Songs originally planned or not planned is an irrelevant issue. 

 

Both tracks were on the FIRST released version of the album, they werent tacked on to a later edition like Dua and others did to inflate numbers. Harleys in Hawaii had almost no streams at that time. Small talk had a lot more and that is still not on the album.
