Only seen her in Stranger Things and she's great in that. I think she has a branding issue and will struggle to transition into adult roles. Her success being exclusive to Netflix won't help her with moving on from that space either. Her peers like Jenna Ortega are ahead of her with being taken more seriously and having success outside of Netflix.

She doesn't seem to have any range. All her characters seems to be the exact same no matter the time period but I guess it works for the type of movies she's cast in.

She is a good actress, she did well as Eleven but she is under this pressure of where people think the successful ones are overrated and not special. If she was not the lead role in stranger things , her talent wouldn't be under much scrutiny. 
 

She is still young and has time to grow and even gets better , but I believe her career is promising .

She was good season 1-2 of ST but that's it. She also was in a Godzilla movie and we'll see her in the upcoming Netflix film w Chris Pratt. But my impression of her is def that fame went to her head and she is now insufferable

She was good for the first season or 2 of ST. She was a good child actor and was good at portraying a girl with the personality of an alien who escaped onto earth. 
 

As an older kid and adult, her acting in everything she's been in has been painfully okay. Her career is being carried by Netflix.

She has talent, but she's not particularly beloved in her home country, as she has clearly abandoned us for America. We can see her experimenting with trying out being an American when she's not in any actual acting role, and it comes across as very cringe.

 

We can see she's got a fanbase in America, but, like James Corden (and the rock band 'Bush' before him), we just don't care, as we never loved any of them and never had much of a relationship with them prior to America picking them up.

 

Plus, she has really bad bleach-blonde hair that clearly doesn't work with her skin tone, which she seems to not want to accept, and it makes her look nouveau riche.

She's OK, but I agree most (if not all) of her roles are similar type of characters, which is her comfort zone at this point

I'd like to see her in something completely different, but she's still very young and has plenty of time to prove herself.
