poki Posted Thursday at 07:49 PM Posted Thursday at 07:49 PM I don't feel like I've used my OLED enough and apparently this one is LCD so I'll pass. 99% of my Switch time is for Crash Bandicoot games when I'm away from home.

50thStateofMind Posted Thursday at 08:46 PM Posted Thursday at 08:46 PM day 1 purchase for me. Iʻve had my switch 1 since it launched...so glad I skipped OLED
fountain Posted Thursday at 08:50 PM Posted Thursday at 08:50 PM I'll get one at launch if it provides a performance boost on Switch 1 games. There are games like TOTK which I have held out on playing so I can experience them on better hardware. If they don't, I'll probably still get one eventually, but would wait over time until more exclusives have been released / an improved iteration releases. I already have a Steam Deck which is great, and I hope the performance and build quality of the Switch 2 is more inline with that.
SlowGinFizzzz Posted Thursday at 10:34 PM Posted Thursday at 10:34 PM Will most probably get it, but not at launch. I'll wait for a cute Zelda- or Pokémon-themed one, or maybe even for an OLED revision. 1
50thStateofMind Posted Thursday at 11:24 PM Posted Thursday at 11:24 PM tbh the feature Iʻm most excited for so far is using the joycons as a mouse certain games will be lightyears more enjoyable...
unclefloprry Posted Thursday at 11:49 PM Posted Thursday at 11:49 PM Yes, I love the portability of this console since I travel a lot for my work and looks cute just more classy.
artc0cx Posted Thursday at 11:56 PM Posted Thursday at 11:56 PM Yes, bu ill wait until a new zelda or a (good) pokemon game, dont care about mario

Speaking of backwards compatibility, this pc does that and also plays most the switch library OT: Once there's some games I can't skip, if emulators aren't working by then Edited Friday at 03:12 AM by Sheep
Comedor Posted Friday at 03:13 AM Posted Friday at 03:13 AM You can't call yourself a gaymer without a Switch.
minajatropolis Posted Friday at 05:01 AM Posted Friday at 05:01 AM does anyone else get the feeling that the joycons will begin falling off after consistent use? maybe im not seeing something. the original joycons have a button in the back to allow the it to be removed.

I wouldn't be too worried about that. It's really easy to miss, but these new joycons also have a button to detach (it's below the ZR/ZL button, I think you can kinda see it around 1:00-1:04 in the trailer. So the only real difference is the change from slide -> magnetic attachment & detachment. Easier to attach and detach, but still secure when already attached. 1
Sombre Posted Friday at 07:38 AM Posted Friday at 07:38 AM Nah, handheld isn't my thing. There are better handheld consoles too, like the Legion Go.

However it is really annoying when people just randomly bring it up PC comes first but I 100% enjoy my Switch and my Steam Deck. Handheld consoles > consoles.

Depends what you play and what you're into really. If it wasn't for AC and Pokémon I wouldn't have a Switch essentially sometimes it not about pure hardware and what games look the most shiny (bc they're usually the ones with the shittest gameplay/story).

JennyWayne Posted Friday at 11:05 AM Posted Friday at 11:05 AM Only if the new Mario Kart title will be any good I'm so sick of Mario Kart 8 at this point
