Explain?

Everytime someone even mentions a console or console game PC players waddle into the conversation and talk about how much PC Is so much better when literally NOBODY was talking about the PC. These people remain insufferable that's why nobody likes them. :ace:

I don't feel like I've used my OLED enough and apparently this one is LCD so I'll pass.

99% of my Switch time is for Crash Bandicoot games when I'm away from home.

The recent leaks puts it around ps4 pro power so it is possible

I've just seen recent spec leaks, it could be possible at 4k30fps at best with DLSS especially if it's DLSS 4, perched for the performance videos once the console is out :giraffe:

day 1 purchase for me. Iʻve had my switch 1 since it launched...so glad I skipped OLED

Posted

I'll get one at launch if it provides a performance boost on Switch 1 games. There are games like TOTK which I have held out on playing so I can experience them on better hardware.

If they don't, I'll probably still get one eventually, but would wait over time until more exclusives have been released / an improved iteration releases. I already have a Steam Deck which is great, and I hope the performance and build quality of the Switch 2 is more inline with that.

Will most probably get it, but not at launch. I'll wait for a cute Zelda- or Pokémon-themed one, or maybe even for an OLED revision.

tbh the feature Iʻm most excited for so far is using the joycons as a mouse

certain games will be lightyears more enjoyable...

Yes, I love the portability of this console since I travel a lot for my work and looks cute just more classy.

enjoying playing on PC in your bed or on a plane? :ryan3:

Speaking of backwards compatibility, this pc does that and also plays most the switch library :ryan3:

OT: Once there's some games I can't skip, if emulators aren't working by then :giraffe:

You can't call yourself a gaymer without a Switch. :sorry:

Probably not. Only use it to play Zelda.

does anyone else get the feeling that the joycons will begin falling off after consistent use? maybe im not seeing something. the original joycons have a button in the back to allow the it to be removed.

I wouldn't be too worried about that. It's really easy to miss, but these new joycons also have a button to detach (it's below the ZR/ZL button, I think you can kinda see it around 1:00-1:04 in the trailer. So the only real difference is the change from slide -> magnetic attachment & detachment. Easier to attach and detach, but still secure when already attached.

Nah, handheld isn't my thing. There are better handheld consoles too, like the Legion Go.

I mean, PC is obviously better bc hardware and compatibility so it goes without saying. However it is really annoying when people just randomly bring it up :bird: PC comes first but I 100% enjoy my Switch and my Steam Deck. Handheld consoles > consoles.

Depends what you play and what you're into really. If it wasn't for AC and Pokémon I wouldn't have a Switch essentially :bird: sometimes it not about pure hardware and what games look the most shiny (bc they're usually the ones with the shittest gameplay/story).

I mean... with the Legion Go, you could play quite a large number of games through emulators. :fan:
