i dunno, i don't think she sounded good. she kept repeating herself, using the same phrases, a bit all over the place.

She's also basically been locked in a room by herself for the last three years. I'm not sure how well any of us would sound after that.

She sounded 10x more coherent and present than I would have expected after watching that doc. Not sure what to believe at this point, maybe part of it is that she's sobered up like others have said but it also almost seems like they were possibly drugging her (?) or something on purpose to spin a story. Only because cognitive degeneration from my understanding is not something that suddenly reverses… very odd and concerning, hoping she's able to distance herself from any abusive guardianship

we're rooting for your health and happiness Wendy

She's obviously mentally unwell let's be real

...and? What's your point? That she should not live a life she wants because of that?

Whatever. Free Wendy. Abolish conservatorships. She did an interview with Jason Lee as well:

Like I said in my original post there needs to be a balance. No one should have their rights taken by a stranger and trapped in a room 24/7. There has to be a better method. As I also said she (Wendy) seemed horrendous right before and during the beginning of the conservatorship so something must be working to aid in her recovery.

Though I don't think mentally unwell people should just be allowed freely that can harm themselves and others  :deadbanana2:

Wendy breaking down hysterically in tears over possibly not being able to see her father's 94th birthday and in fear of the guardian taking her phone is so heartbreaking.

It's that part. Somebody needs to stop this. Her family clearly wants to also help her do better.
