Walmart unveiled a "comprehensive brand refresh" Monday that the company says reflects its "evolution as a people-led, tech-powered omnichannel retailer."

According to a news release, the updated branding will "better represent who Walmart is today." The company said some of the key features of the brand refresh include a wordmark inspired by Sam Walton's classic trucker hat and brought to life with a "modern, custom font that differentiates Walmart from the crowd."

Additionally, the spark "exudes the energy of Walmart" and the color palette "leans on the retailer's most recognizable tones and its heritage of blue, while ushering in new updates to keep the brand fresh," the company said.

The "new" logo is a MESS.  Also didnt  Walmart just get rid of all diversity and DEI? So what they gonna show us hillbillies with trucker hats on? Is that what the Walmart brand represents now?
