Joyride Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago that'd be quite a hard thing to prove, Julia's sound has been all over Pop radio for years, even though I can hear the similarities to Kiss Me More, I'd say this is Julia's sound - not really Doja's. 1
JO1s Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I mean doja didn't sue sabrina, idk why she'd sue the khia's
Saintlor Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Julia is in a bad position. She's written for so many artists, that it sounds like she's copying their songs. The song in the OP really sounds like a Sabrina song 1 2
NEUTRON Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago A waste of time and resources... they're different enough
LoveInStereo Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) This thread's making me feel insane. Not only do the two songs sound nothing alike but why are we acting like there's any basis for suing others based on having a similar style? They're not the same tempo or key, they don't have the same lyrics or subject matter: we wouldn't hear 1 original recording for the rest of our ******* lives if this similarity = plagiarism they're both breezy pop songs. Ok. And what else? Edited 12 hours ago by LoveInStereo
50thStateofMind Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) a lot of people on ATRL think Say So was the first disco-pop song ever Edited 12 hours ago by 50thStateofMind 1 2
iheartshania Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago the first few seconds had me suspicious, but it in fact does not sound like the grammy award winning pop perfection that is KMM
JoeAg Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago who the f*ck is Julia Michaels i'm sorry but first name basis only works for the two other ppl here who have a name and a surname
The7thStranger Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They're not that similar. But wow "Scissors" is bad. That video is atrocious.
