Sweeftie13 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Alejandro is a mid hit only in US or anglosphere, in Europe and many other parts of the globe is as big as Poker Face and Bad Romance and bigger than just dance 4 1
niktperkins Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Come on guys, she is one of the most talented and, with a wide range, musicians and singers. She had a lot hits but don't try convicing us that she is the absolute singer or the singer of the century. It's funny
nostalgic Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Paparazzi and Alejandro are mega classics to me, I must say. It feels somewhat disrespectful to not recognize how unique and memorable they are. Anybody could've sang Just Dance but no one else could've delivered those other concepts like her

GraceRandolph Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yes and rumor has it her and Jorge Elbrecht have cooked up another major classic for LG7.
Kayseri Mantisi Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yes. Okay, so, like, where do I even start with GaGa? She's not just a singer, she's…everything. A force of nature. Seriously, try to find another artist who can go from full-on pop bangers like "Bad Romance" – which, let's be real, is a CLASSIC – to belting out jazz standards with Tony Bennett. It's insane! Her voice? Forget about it. It can do anything. And she's not afraid to change, you know? Every album is a whole new Gaga era, a new look, a new sound. It's never boring. And it's not just about the music, either. She's a total icon. Her fashion is always next-level, pushing boundaries, and she's such a huge advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. She actually cares. And the Little Monsters? We're a family. She's created this whole community of love and acceptance. Then there's her songwriting. It's not just catchy hooks (though, let's be honest, those are there too!). Her lyrics are deep, they're about real stuff, about love, fame, identity…things everyone can relate to. From the dance-pop of "The Fame" to the rawness of "Joanne," she's grown so much as a songwriter. And don't even get me STARTED on "A Star Is Born." "Shallow"? Come on! A global anthem. It cemented her place as a true multi-hyphenate. She's got the Grammys, the Golden Globe, the Oscar nomination…she's a legend. And she's still going! She's constantly reinventing herself, pushing boundaries, and inspiring millions. She's not just making music, she's making history. That's why she's THE classic-making chanteuse of our time. End of story. 3 1 1

I honestly don't think I've heard of it even once in the past 10 or so years in the US, hence why the placement. I know it's bigger in Europe, just wasn't aware it was that huge, so I think it's fair to move it up a level. Edited 4 hours ago by awong918 1

Please make me laugh what i (and everyone should too) call a classic is a song that still lives at least 10 years later. Rihanna - no need for explanations katy - IKAG, CG, Fireworks, Roar... you can't deny her pre 2013 monstrous smashes that people still use more than a decade later. Beyonce - halo, singe ladies, crazy in love... Adele - the 1 2 3 punch from 21, hello. gaga - poker face, born this way, shallow (the only one i will allow called a classic in under 10 years of release) anything else?

Luv Adele but she has max 6 classics and thats maybe even a stretch. I hope you are not counting Love in the Dark as an Adele classic only because it went viral on TikTok? Using the same logic I guess Breakin Dishes is now a RiRi classic too? 1

Beyonce has way less classics even if her status as a megastar is more highly regarded, and Adele has like 3-4?

Everything in the Mega category is indeed a classic.
