alexaalto Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) all surfaced in full they sound like early Venus or PG? also 1:50min snippet of Lonely, one of my most anticipated unreleased tracks from her Edited January 11 by alexaalto
Lady Claire Posted January 12 Posted January 12 All bops Especially I Can't Die. Can't believe it was scrapped And they sound very recent so i assume they were intended for Venus 1
Lady Claire Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) I need to post again bc i just created a Venus II album/playlist and realized how bad she was at picking songs for VENUS @alexaalto Maybe I'm Scared and Meet Me in Paris are better ballads than Soundtrack and The Healing. I Can't Die might be one of my favorite songs by her… ever. I never knew she could ride an atmospheric reggaeton beat this good. It reminds me a lot of Cairo by Karol G (it has the same beat). She could've invited a Latin singer for a remix, it would've been so good. You Can Have Him is such a hit. To the point she had to post on her Tiktok… Sooner Than Better has the same vibe as Venus (the song) with the space-y vibes but it's better executed here. Up All Night is credited as a solo but the production gives me Joel Corry SO much. She was working with him and we know the song that went for Rita was supposed to be Zara, but i wonder if he had a hand on this. I feel like it would work better than On My Love and would've been an easy top 10 for her in the UK. Leave Alone, Forever, Mini-Lover and Pink are all better than Nothing… I do enjoy Venus the album (despite everyone else dragging it) but it makes me mad how she literally record better music and decides to not release it for some reason. These songs with final mixes would make a far better album Edited January 13 by Lady Claire

These songs with final mixes would make a far better album my faves from the Venus sessions as an album length in rough sonical order. but tbh from the leaks and released ones, Venus seems to have no direction, so many genres and styles, all the tracks are very different but there is many gems tho maybe disco influenced tracks are the majority from Venus sessions. 1
