Kayseri Mantisi Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Today i kept seeing fanbases on twitter arguing over their favorite artist or album not being included on the recent Rolling Stone & Billboard century lists. When I went to check the lists, I saw that Lorde appears on all three, despite ATRL constantly telling me she's over, talentless, non-impactful and such. How is this possible with just 3 albums and every 4-year release schedule, no social media and no TikTok? Bitter Aging Twink Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Because, unlike most modern popgirls who release a mediocre, 2-minute TikTok tune every two weeks, Ms. Yelich-O'Connor takes her time to curate a collection of lengthy, well-written pop Bibles that she is proud of, allowing her art to always endure the test of time. Because of the high standards she sets for her own music, she has managed to create classic after classic - albums that are nearly a decade old at this point yet are still being discussed as if they were released yesterday. 3
