sunbathinganimal Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago As of January 10, every Björk album is available in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music except for 2011's Biophilia. Even soundtrack album Selmasongs is available in the format. What gives? Why is one of Björk's best albums being shunned like this? Is it simply an oversight? A lack of taste? Or is there some kind of anti-science agenda over at Apple Inc.? Discuss.
Space Cowboy Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Because it's GARBAGE. Crystalline is the only half listenable song in that album. 5

Venice B Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I love Björk but no one wants to listen to that album 1 1 3
americanlife Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago It would be a waste of money to master that album into Dolby Atmos. I always forget of that album's existence and I've probably listened to it once in full and never went back. 1
Vespertine Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Anyone speaking ill about Biophilia in this thread should have their asses BEATEN Clueless tasteless mfers. One of her best albums. The beginning of her divorce — so deeply felt that she could only compare it to the shifting of tectonic plates. I hope you all rot in hell. 1
Vespertine Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago To actually answer the OP's question, maybe it has something to do with the way it was recorded and mixed originally? It might be the most complex one to revisit. 1
Dragonfly Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago As her best album, they´re worried that listening to it in such quality would fry your brain, as your soul transcends to a higher plane of existence 2
