BlahBlahBlah Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Between Lorde's 2 smash-sterpieces, if you can only save one, which one are you keeping? VS Edited 4 hours ago by BlahBlahBlah
Sawk Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Melodrama and it's not close NEED the third album, c'mon Lorde, release ha 1
Mocha Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Melo because it has one of my all time favorite songs on it (the louvre) 1
Gorjesspazze9 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago They both 10/10. But I have to go with Pure Heroine. 1
Teen Spirit Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Tennis Court > any song on Melodrama But I only like 5 songs from PH while I love Melodrama as a whole album so I voted for that.
Kimi Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Melodrama is the best pop album of all time but not too much on PH, still a classic 3
Kayseri Mantisi Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago this is insanely hard. both are 10/10 albums, both helped me with growing up, both are mega relatable, both are masterpieces, both are influential, both are timeless. idk what to choose omfg 2
Beyonnaise Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago PH was just such a lightning in a bottle moment and one of my favorite albums ever. I'm the same age as Lorde so it just perfectly fit the vibe at the time if you were in high school feeling disaffected in the suburbs and spending time on Tumblr listening to Lana and Arctic Monkeys. It really holds up too, especially the deluxe with The Love Club EP and Swingin Party (and No Better which isn't on it for some reason). 1

Beyonnaise Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Truly one of the best songs ever The way the solemn opening guitar immediately makes you feel like you're alone in a big world, and then how the drums and harmonies kick in after "I know it's dumb" where you can hear her smiling and kinda eyerolling about how comfortable she feels in the relationship. Whew. "All the double edged people in schemes / They make a mess then go home and get clean" is such an all-time great couplet. It feels so evocative and true to real life. Oh Ella Plath. The fact she was 16 Edited 2 hours ago by Beyonnaise 1
bielneira Posted 44 minutes ago Posted 44 minutes ago Hard, but Melodrama. Melodrama is my #1 favorite album of all time, so nothing comes close to it so far. 1
