psychodiva336 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Poppy's iconic genre-defying third studio album "I Disagree" came out half a decade ago today. What are your thoughts on this career-defining album? Edited January 10 by psychodiva336 4
psychodiva336 Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 This album means so much to me. I had it on repeat pretty much every day for well over 2 years since the day it came out It's hard for me to believe it's been half a decade already, I still remember counting down until the release day! My favorite songs now are Nothing I Need and Sit/Stay but overall this is a very cohesive and mature body of work that has aged well. Concrete still slaps too! In light of her other albums I'd say I Disagree is now on a solid 3rd place spot. Zig will always be my favorite release from her!
sunbathinganimal Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I can't stand this album but congratulations Poppy 3
Danixoxo Posted January 10 Posted January 10 her best album!! the first three tracks are soooo good, especially concrete 4
K$Ellie Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Bloodmoney and Sit/Stay were iconic this and Flux are easily her best for me 1
BlahBlahBlah Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Sit/Stay supremacy Spoiler Honestly, Negative Spaces outsold though 1
dumbsparce Posted January 10 Posted January 10 There's something so empowering about the cover and the title. Easily her best album to date. 4 1
Dragonfly Posted January 10 Posted January 10 The fact that we've gotten 3 albums since then Generous queen This is my favourite, but Negative Spaces comes very close tbh 1
ICLDXU4HS Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I don't remember what the album tracks sounded like, but the singles were all amazing. 1
Beyonnaise Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I was randomly listening to Bloodmoney last night, it really slaps. I haven't explored much of her newer music after liking the Eat EP but being kinda bored with Flux. She has some great songs. 2
Cazy Posted January 10 Posted January 10 a revolutionary album. atrl's faves would kill to have a record half as solid in their discographies 2
Club classic Posted January 10 Posted January 10 This is such a good album. Anything Like Me, Sick of the Sun, Sit/Stay, the title track and Don't Go Outside are my favs. 1
stjosephprey4us Posted January 10 Posted January 10 The quality AND quantity this woman has been able to put out less than a decade into her career is honestly amazing she's incredibly underrated in pop and alternative music 1
Jay L Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Great album and still her best imo. The pop/nu metal mix really hit the spot for me personally. Concrete is the modern Bohemian Rhapsody idc 3
