Meryl Streep voted greatest Oscar Best Actress winner ever - GoldDerby

Posted

92. Sandra Bullock in The Blind Side (2009)

You know this is not a bad take at all, I am actually surprised she won the award for this role, she was good there, but to me it was nothing stellar. I am surprised she won that year, can not remember if the competition was weak.

So bad. Minnelli and maybe Leigh are the only worthy entries in the top ten.

I have a hard time believing only FOUR best actress winners since 2000 onwards deserved a Top 20 placement

That's because Ms. Davis' wins are nowhere near her best. All About Eve, Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?, Now Voyager, The Little Foxes, and Of Human Bondage would have all been worthy wins.

All of Bette's and Meryl's are way too low and Olivia's win for To Each His Own sadly is still underrated. Julie and Audrey not being near the bottom too lmao :lmao: Is goldderby a site for kids?

31. Emma Stone in Poor Things (2023)

I'd personally put her much higher.

Agree with most of the bottom placements.

Taylor in WAOVF deserved #1 or at least top three.
