KatyPrismSpirit Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Thots? If only Dua woke up and released Whatcha Doing as a single after Illusion tanked. A Whatcha Doing Remix with The Weeknd or Bruno Mars () could've literally saved the era. Oh dudu… Whatcha did to Radical Optimism can't be forgiven me thinks 1
Kiss It Better Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago YESSS it's literally screaming to be Levitating 2.0 3
tjspy Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago It's not. Ofc it'd be a hit if Bruno was on a remix, but just like that, it's far from being an hit that got away. 2
West Coast Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago yes. it would've gotten better numbers than these walls if it got a music video and a tth placement 2
CBC Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago yes it's a mega smasha. She's a coward for giving up on the era instead of promoting its gems
Deactivatedos Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Whatcha Doin to me could have been a hit, but the hits that got away on that album to me were these walls, falling forever, and maria. I feel like if Dua had finished the album and dropped it in Q1 2023 then she would not have underperformed like she did. also houdini's extended should have been the official version of that song. All Dua needed to do was: (1) Lead Single extended Houdini in fall/winter 22 or early 23; (2) Extended album cover (gorgeous red hair diving dua) as original album cover; (3) Better Music Videos and a bombardment of performances on tv; (4) The album should have already been released when Dance the Night came out. 2 1
MerveAksak Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I dont think RO has any other hit material maybe Falling Forever. Still love Whatcha Doing tho one of my faves.
Démodé Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Falling Forever, Maria, Whatcha Doing are all lil underrated gems. 1
Reginald Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Whatcha doin' to me, baby? I'm scared to death that you might be the one to change me You're in my head and now you're cloudin' my decisions Got me headin' for collision Whatcha doin' to me, baby? Oh, whatcha doin' to me? One of my favorites from RO! 3

One of my favorites from RO! one of the catchiest hooks of her career tbh 1
JoeAg Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago it's excellent and yes it most certainly is, but at the same time every time I listen to it it just makes me wanna listen to Pretty Please which is kind of… the better version of it 1
Psycho Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Yes. I've been saying it should have been her Espresso summer smasha 1
tost1 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago People mentioning Falling Forever? Maria and These Walls were the smashes!
Prodigal Self Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago naah, Illusion is the hit y'all got away from. An End of an Era is the most slept on song also the best outside of singles
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Someone put her on a no flight list and tell her to finish the era with These Walls and Whatcha Doing
katara Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Imagine if we had got Whatcha Doing feat Bruno Mars before Die With A Smile and APT 1
Migs Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Yeah, I still don't get why she didn't push one more single, especially after Glasto. But if I were to choose, it would definitely be Maria or End of an era. Edited 11 hours ago by Migs
Popboi. Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago If Training Season and Houdini didn't become monster hits, nothing in the album would've. 1
MP3 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Besides the perfect singles Houdini, Training Season and Illusion, the rest is kinda forgettable
Solaria Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I'm not sure if it would have been a US hit but I think with a feature and enough push from Warner (which means investing much more in playlisting since yet again they seemed to prioritize radio over it which I don't get) it could have been a smash in Europe like Houdini.
Cheeky Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago No. End Of An Era is the best song that wasn't a single. 1
