ioio is a bit jarring for the casual listener. 2 hands is boring. 

 

she should focus specifically on the 2006-2007 timbaland sounds that she already borrowed once for greedy. there's plenty more inspiration to find in this area and it will still sound fresh even today

IOIO is trash but 2 hands deserved better. Its one of her best songs

IOIO is truly the hit that got away because it's still viral on TikTok months after (the outro is used in tons of edits). They should used this part more in the song and maybe cut the whisper chorus (even tho I like it). 

 

2 Hands is a good song, a nice album track, but it's a very bad single choice ESPECIALLY after an underperformance like IOIO. I don't get this choice.

I think she should just keep going. She's building a fanbase cuz even flopping i see her songs are always debuting somewhere on the top 20 on the Spotify WW chart, it may stay there for only one week but at least it shows that she has people that care to listen to her new songs, so she should just keep going and one day something will click. I think its been too repetitive so im not streaming that much but i keep checking out cuz i love the 2000s pop persona she has, so keep going Tate.

IOIO never felt like hit material to me. Too jarring, not melodic enough.

 

2 Hands is a hit in my books, but I get why it might be too basic to really smash.

 

Honestly what's next is just keep releasing music. If Sabrina could have a nice career from just feeding a fanbase and still blow up after many years, why wouldn't it be any different for Tate. Just keep feeding the fans, keep touring, and maybe she'll get a hit oneday again with the right material/moment
