jrd30121994 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Curious to hear from y'all which Ellie album stands out as her best work. I've been revisiting her discography and Halcyon IMO has aged like a fine wine chile. thoughts???????
Vixen Eyes Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago 1. Halcyon (Days) 2. Brightest Blue 3. (Bright) Lights 4. Delirium 5. Higher Than Heaven
Scandalous Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago my fav will always be Lights, i loved her folktronica stuff with fraser t smith 3
Bloodflowers. Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Bright Lights closely followed by Halcyon Days 2
perfectillusion204 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I'm a Delirium stan even though there are some filler tracks. But the highs are HIGH. Also Brightest Blue is underrated. 3
Ewan Chaos Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Halcyon > Lights > Higher than Heaven > Delirium > Brightest Blue
BlahBlahBlah Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Actually going to say Higher Than Heaven, though she has better songs it's her only album I like front to back. 2
jordanjm Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Halcyon will always have a special place in my heart. 1
1000 forms of queer Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Halycon made me a stan. She was the 3rd popstar I ever stanned (after Britney and Utada) b/c of Lights and Halcyon. The latter is a masterpiece. Her outputs since then have just been disappointing tbh (which made no longer stan her)

Prodigal Self Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I honestly think Ellie's discography is amazing and holds up very well. Like zero bad albums. But don't quote on that 3
JoeAg Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Halcyon for sure, that opening 6 track run was likely her peak lol
Gladiator Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Man, this is hard. She's one of the very few pop artists who I can say I love every single one of her albums. I think my answer will change on any given day between all of them (except Lights, which I love but I think all her other albums are just better). Currently, I'm gonna say Delirium. Also, I always found it interesting how Brightest Blue seems to be paid dust while Halcyon is regarded by most as her best - I actually think the album most like Halcyon is Brightest Blue so it is surprising to me that particularly people who like Halcyon the most dislike Brightest Blue the most as well.
Ger Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Not an easy choice, since she has a flawless underrated discography. But I would go with Bright Lights, stunning and delicious pop record, I adore Starsmith's work, and that statement still stands for her next projects, he just stands out. BL is probably not her most mature album, but a work she must be proud of.
K$Ellie Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Halcyon > Lights > Delirium > Brightest Blue >> Higher Than Heaven
Phaunzie Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Lights and Halycon VOL 1. VOL 2 is bad and the moment her artistry was on a decline. Midas Touch, Tesselate and Flashlight are the light on that dismal VOL.
