IBeMe Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago What a beautiful ballad omg I just discovered it today...I'm literally moved and shaken tbh. Wtf?! why is this like not one of her signature hits? Is it just cuz its a ballad? It's so melancholic and while Madonna does not have the voice of the vocal trinity who were smashing in the 90s and competing against her she STILL delivered such a moving vocal performance in this song: 3 4
NEX Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Far from her best, but nonetheless a great melancholic/nostalgic ballad with great lyrics that make you reminisce 1 1
Filthy Pop Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago "I'll Remember" deserved this one's spot in her #1s 9 1
savedthemixtape Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Have always adored this song! Love when it plays at the end of 'A League of Their Own' 1
Nightingale Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago It's an ok song but probably my least favorite of her #1s. I'll Remember is the song that deserved to go #1 and deserves more recognition for being left of field for Madonna. Crazy for You too is so incredible 1
Poxy Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago SLAYground is so underrated the extended version with the extra verses is so wonderful too… we need more praise, there's too many people who just can't comprehend the greatness of it! Speaking of #1s, "Time Stood Still" is the ballad that got away! 2 2
JoeAg Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago wait I've known that this song has existed for so long and yet I've never checked it out here lemme give ha a listening 2
allforyou Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Such a fantastic song I wish she would perform it live, it really is one of her most heartfelt vocal performances 3

The melody is so good! And same! I have to watch that film lol I've been on a bit of an old film kick so it should be exciting! Also I need to hear crazy for you! I don't remember that song at all. Madonna's discography is so damn huge 1

Madonna's discography is so damn huge IT IS!! i feel like there are so many gems from her 21st century albums too that deserve to have spotlights shown on them a bit more… like Nobody's Perfect, Nothing Fails, X-Static Process, Masterpiece, Come Alive 1
LOTF Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago It's cute, undeniably. But she's got so many ballads that are better/stronger 1
808dream Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Absolutely love this song and the movie too. It's a pity she never performed this in any of her tours. 1
SupremeGoddess Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago one thing Madonna always does is excel at ballads even when she's at her worst fat nasty and broke (MDN/A, Repel Charts) she always has a couple of ballads that bring out the best and most creative side of her 1

It's so melancholic and while Madonna does not have the voice of the vocal trinity who were smashing in the 90s and competing against her she STILL delivered such a moving vocal performance in this song: It does have a video and yeah, it was for the soundtrack of "A League of Their Own" and did provide an interesting alternative thematic take of Madonna just before the segue into the "Erotica" era (this of course not being on that album): However, just because it was from a soundtrack (and not from her sexiest album), it doesn't mean she wasn't singing about an experience dear to her. There's also a long version with additional lyrics over an additional verse. Let us not forget this forgotten 1987 bop that was only released as a single in Japan: Edited 15 hours ago by Dante Silva 1
John Slayne Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago nah, it's rightfully forgotten. not a terrible song but she has so many better ballads that deserved chart success 1
Letters From Adi Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago This sounds like an early demo version of Rain tbh
Venice B Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Yeah I'm not too fond of this song, it's a cute ballad but she has tons of better ones.
nadiamendell Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago A cute album track. How did this go #1? I've never heard it before.
