Solaria Posted yesterday at 08:06 PM Posted yesterday at 08:06 PM Are you surprised Taylor's BEST album evermore was incredibly snubbed by both Taylor and the industry? What happend here? Is it too late to change it? 4
KatyPrismSpirit Posted yesterday at 08:08 PM Posted yesterday at 08:08 PM huny lets not. evermore is folklore's less talented sister nobody cares about. next! 1 1 2 4
justin. Posted yesterday at 08:09 PM Posted yesterday at 08:09 PM I love both, but you're right. The writing on Evermore is next level. 1
Timeless Posted yesterday at 08:10 PM Posted yesterday at 08:10 PM Eversnore is a boring, snooze version of folklore. It's literally just folklore's scraps "vault" album. It's no surprise even Taylor hates her. 1 1 2
Badgalbriel Posted yesterday at 08:12 PM Posted yesterday at 08:12 PM Nah. Evermore should've been a deluxe pf folklore. Half of it can be chopped. 2 1

Brooklyn Baby Posted yesterday at 08:21 PM Posted yesterday at 08:21 PM Both are on par for me, with folklore having the slight edge. But evermore deserves all the praise. Some of her best songs on are on there: cowboy like me, right where you left me, ivy 1
greento Posted yesterday at 08:21 PM Posted yesterday at 08:21 PM Yes it's an incredibly good album, it's aging amazingly. It sounds timeless. The same could also be said for folklore though. They're very very equal in terms of quality. I think it was just a matter of timing as to why folklore got more attention.
Hephaestus Posted yesterday at 08:22 PM Posted yesterday at 08:22 PM Yes and it's time people acknowledge it. Plus the cover is amazing, one of her best actually 1
Katamari Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM Agreed even if it lacks a my gods ricochet
Trent W Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM Posted yesterday at 08:24 PM It was just that Folklore came out first Both albums are her greatest Evermore would have the same success if it came out first but it was a winter album so it makes more sense to release it second
Feanor Posted yesterday at 08:30 PM Posted yesterday at 08:30 PM Well no. 'evermore' is clearly the ugly sister of the two and generally in the bottom half of Taylor's discography. 1 1 1
aotearoa Posted yesterday at 08:30 PM Posted yesterday at 08:30 PM correct way better than folklore 3
Cruel Summer Posted yesterday at 08:41 PM Posted yesterday at 08:41 PM Evermore deserves everything Folklore, Red TV, 1989 (both versions), and TTPD have - combined. That the holiest and most sacred scripture she has given us is also her most arcane and unknown, however, is not all that surprising - such is the way of things. The Evermore cult will endure these trials and stand strong - tarnished but so grand. 5

naval23 Posted yesterday at 09:05 PM Posted yesterday at 09:05 PM it's surprising how it got left behind and is the ugly duckling in terms of success - the rest of her eras are 7M+ and this one is barely over 4M?! but no, folklore outsold for good reason; Lover, Midnights & TTPD on the other hand...talent lost there
romas_ld Posted yesterday at 09:08 PM Posted yesterday at 09:08 PM I actually like that it's kinda hidden from gp
EnigmaticAndroid Posted yesterday at 09:12 PM Posted yesterday at 09:12 PM It's her best album so yes Gorgeous musicality, sterling lyricism, and complex, mature ideas
wastedpotential Posted yesterday at 09:15 PM Posted yesterday at 09:15 PM Well yes! As one of the most deranged evermore cultists on this website, it DID deserve the world. Still, my clown ass is holding out hope for a 5-year anniversary LPSS recording coming this Christmas And if not this year, then I'll be holding my breath in 2030 for the 10 year anniversary too 1
By the Water Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Yes. The only thing folklore has over it is cardigod
