DanyelP23 Posted Sunday at 03:00 AM Posted Sunday at 03:00 AM (edited) I just checked Wikipedia and The New Yorker ranked this as the best pop song of 2024, The Washington Post had it as the best single released in 2024, and Pitchfork had it at #35. What's going on? Don't get me wrong, the video is fun and the song itself is not exactly horrible (if you don't listen to it more than once at a time), with some cute elements that ultimately don't really mesh well together. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler To me it just smells of management connections pulling some strings, but to what end? Edited Sunday at 03:01 AM by DanyelP23 2 2
Popular Post Bussea Posted Sunday at 03:04 AM Popular Post Posted Sunday at 03:04 AM Because it's a great song when you don't have an ugly gay screaming in your ear about charli xcx 31 1 8 1
MatiRod Posted Sunday at 03:10 AM Posted Sunday at 03:10 AM "Dade County Dreaming" was the standout from CXOXO imo 6
MonsterNavy Posted Sunday at 03:20 AM Posted Sunday at 03:20 AM the charli wig worked a bit I guess 1 1
gm4567 Posted Sunday at 03:30 AM Posted Sunday at 03:30 AM Its good tbh Especially the grungier coachella version 3

Kummercell Posted Sunday at 03:45 AM Posted Sunday at 03:45 AM Even I, a proud OCCH, have to admit that it's a very good song. 1
rebeltwat Posted Sunday at 03:51 AM Posted Sunday at 03:51 AM Both song and album were standout moments of 2024 but twitter hate bandwagoning prevented many of you from getting that 10
Nick_317 Posted Sunday at 04:31 AM Posted Sunday at 04:31 AM Because it's the lead single from one of the best albums of 2024 4
Wicked Posted Sunday at 04:56 AM Posted Sunday at 04:56 AM Because Playboi Carti is critic elixir. lol.
Bubble Tea Posted Sunday at 05:03 AM Posted Sunday at 05:03 AM The entire C, XOXO album was one of 2024's best efforts. Shammys shouldn't have snubbed. 7
Maleficent Posted Sunday at 05:21 AM Posted Sunday at 05:21 AM I remember when that melonhead or w/e youtuber that all the straight men love, said it was a terrible song. That was when I knew that it was a really good song. 5
Maxxxine Posted Sunday at 07:13 AM Posted Sunday at 07:13 AM It's a great song.. probably the only good song off that album!
305 Posted Sunday at 07:25 AM Posted Sunday at 07:25 AM The whole album was severely slept on and underrated and wrongly clowned solely because of Camila being the artist involved. Nobody gave it a chance when in reality it was one of the best pop albums of 2024 8
Europe Posted Sunday at 07:26 AM Posted Sunday at 07:26 AM They were soooooo stupid for not sending this one to radio. We speculate a lot about what damaged the C, XOXO era so much but the fact is, it was He Knows. That song had 0 potential but they wasted so much radio payola and promotion on it. Meanwhile they left this flawless banger alone to die. It is very upsetting. 4
Lightbringer007 Posted Sunday at 07:43 AM Posted Sunday at 07:43 AM cause the song/album was one of the best of 2024 hands down 1
