Lament Posted Friday at 09:02 AM Posted Friday at 09:02 AM The way you literally opened three threads about Madonna tonight…
Alaska. Posted Friday at 09:12 AM Posted Friday at 09:12 AM Right? I need her to do more cartwheels in her 60s
UrMom Posted Friday at 12:55 PM Posted Friday at 12:55 PM Her dancing has never been cringe. She's been getting progressively stiffer since Sticky and Sweet, but give her a break, she's a senior citizen. 1
Shimenawa Posted Friday at 01:07 PM Posted Friday at 01:07 PM She's getting older and older. Just be happy the woman is alive and still performing 1
Alongoria13 Posted Friday at 02:45 PM Posted Friday at 02:45 PM (edited) I am not here for the slander of the best section of the Celebration Tour Literally none of the current popular stars dance, it's a dying art, meanwhile Madonna barely recycles choreos and dance numbers from previous shows, be grateful x Edited Friday at 02:46 PM by Alongoria13 2
Oktober Knight Posted Friday at 03:45 PM Posted Friday at 03:45 PM PS - this Ray of Light performance was the best part of the show! She was strapped in a cube 50 feet in the air, did y'all want her to do somersaults? 1
Jay07 Posted Friday at 04:16 PM Posted Friday at 04:16 PM She was fine when doing choreographed moments on Celebration and she was 65 and recovering from literally almost dying. The moment you posted was strapped to a bar and hovering 20 feet in the air, not sure what your expecting. 2
theweekend Posted Friday at 06:57 PM Posted Friday at 06:57 PM I've noticed it but she's almost 70. what do you expect? pls bffr
Iaintsorry Posted Friday at 08:56 PM Posted Friday at 08:56 PM Actually I feel like it was more because she started relying less on choreographed dance numbers and started "free-styling". I noticed it first during Rebel Heart Tour and Madame X tour continued it. Celebration Tour was kinda hard to watch cause during some parts she literally had to be carried around by dancers, but that was understandable considering the health scare she had before the tour started. All to say, she's doing what she can given her age. She's maintained herself well, but the years of physically demanding performances has taken its toll on her body. Dancers typically only have up until their thirties to be able to continue their careers, before switching to being a dance teacher or something, so the fact Madonna is even still attempting to dance on stage at her age is quite impressive. 3
