I've never undestood the hype over this song, the Madonna stans always wet their panties when they talk about it :rip:

Anyway, to answer the question, no.

I'm so happy Madonna had "Timbaland phase". HC was hated at arrival but I loved it. So much good memories with 2008 sound. I was 9 year old child listening to something with "my sugar is raw" help :suburban: but this are funny memories

So much nostalgia for the spring of 08. I had Hard Candy and E=MC2 on HEAVY rotation. It was heavenly.

Can someone post that story of her hosting the Hard Candy listening party where she made everyone vote between Candy Shop and 4 Minutes for the lead single, and then got mad because 4 Minutes got the better reception? :ahh::ahh:

She really lives in the future :santa:

She really loved CS because she even performed it at 3 tours in a row. Well 4 Minutes was safer choice after all

Because it's the one song that is mostly guaranteed to be performed on tour, she gave it a rest for Celebration and was too much of a smash hit for Madame X, but will return in her next tour :eli:

No, but "Incredible" does

I remember when
You were the one
You were my friend
You gave me life
You were the sun
You taught me things
I didn't run
I fell to my knees
I didn't know why
I started to breathe
I wanted to cry
I need a reminder so I can relate
I need to go back there before it's too late

It's time to get your hands up
It's time to get your body moving
It's time to get your hands up
It's time to get your body moving
It's time to get your hands up
It's time to get your body moving
It's time to get your hands up
It's time to get your body moving

She really lives in the future :santa:

Is it this excerpt from her upcoming biopic that you're referring to? :santa:

It begins with Madonna sitting in a team meeting. Her phone lights up -- A text from Guy: "I want to see a marriage counselor".

She closes her eyes. She sighs. A montage of clips gossiping about her adoption, her marriage struggles, her age...these flash across the screen. She is tired of the controversies and personal life challenges.

She opens them and stares at the group of Warner A&R Reps. Silence.

"Candy Shop. That's the single."

"....no..." says one of the Reps. "Absolutely not. We're doing the Justin Timberlake song".

She smiles. She knows what she is doing. She has a plan. A flash of Candy Shop performances from future tours flashes before her eyes.

"Fine. We'll call the record Hard Candy"

"But Madonna, it's already called Give It 2 Me, and we have the boxing theme photoshoot already comple--"

"Hard Candy."

She is a freedom fighter.

Title credits roll: Madonna: Still Sticky, Still Sweet -- The Biopic.
