Same, her being biracial makes so much sense.

Finding out Catherine Zeta-Jones is Welsh/Irish and not Hispanic was a shock.

Everyone saying they thought Ariana was biracial:rip:

I didn't know how much Irish Rihanna had in her.

Also, I'm shocked someone posted that Nelly Furtado is white. I thought she was brazilian???

I didn't know JLO had a significant % of African ancestry but then again I should have known better. She has it on both sides.

Ecuadorian father and I think her mother was German, Irish... I was in shock when I discovered that as a kid

You are terribly obsessed with her, not even healthy. I wonder if you have a master plan to meet her and hurt her or something like that, but the way you post, write, and talk about her is concerning, and has such a weird vibe.

People saying Ariana doesn't look Italian must not know how the actual majority of Italians look outside of a couple regions in Northern Italy. :rip:

Madonna and Gaga being the standard for Italians in the pop imaginary has simply fooled the world lol and even they are only like half Italian with the other half being French/German/Scottish.

Some Italians are very dark. There was lots of controversy and backlash against Johnny Cash when people thought his first wife was black. Vivian Cash's father was Sicilian and her mother was European and indeed part African.

Emilia Clarke has Indian blood.

Quote

"The fact that [my grandmother] had to hide her skin color, essentially, and try desperately to fit in with everyone else must've been incredibly difficult," the 31-year-old actress said.

My grandmother was colonial Indian, and it was a big old family secret because her mum had an affair with someone in India," she said. "She would wear makeup to make her skin look white."

Yes but then that makes the post even more bizarre. I read the post as if she was American white so maybe that was my mistake. Why would anybody be surprised she was white to begin with???

Taylor Lautner, Rita Ora and Alessia Cara all just being White still doesn't register for me

Well, for Taylor, according to him, her mother had some Native American ancestry.

For Alessia, she qualifies as 'European' for being Italian, but 'European' doesn't necessarily mean 'White'. Many Italians have being historically mixed, and that's why the features of people near the Mediterranean sea are different than the ones from Northern Europe
