On January 1, 2010, Kesha kickstarted the 2010s decade with the release of "Animal".

The iconic pop album reportedly serves as inspiration for Kesha's upcoming sixth studio album due to be released this year.

This album is so special, absolute fun and a great balance between trashy pop and really introspective moments.

Blind & Dancing with Tears in My Eyes are criminally underrated B O P S as well :WAP:

Her Rockin' Eve set was really fun. I hope her new era goes according to plan cause it seems she's very strategic about it.

Apparently Animal being the main inspiration of her new record has a lot to do with starting over on her terms, it's a really interesting concept. And soon enough we'll get re-recordings too.

I loved this album back in the day and enjoyed almost every song on it.

Always thought Hungover would have made a great final single especially in a world where BBB wasn't released. BBB made sense at the time with the 3OH!3 feature but it was pretty grating.

This album is one of my favorites ever, she has so many amazing songs, TiK ToK, Your Love is my Drug, Take it Off, Stephen, Blah Blah Blah, Party at a Rich Dude's House, Backstabber, Blind, Dinosaur, Dancing with Tears in My Eyes, Animal are my favorites.

Let me go stream it.

ill never forget in my first year of secondary school, there was this girl called Abby and she was a grade A b*tch .. she tried really hard to be your stereotypical popular school bully, even had her dad hire a limousine to drop her off at school on her birthday. people used to say she looked like a dinosaur behind her back, and then Animal came out (it was huge in the UK) and everyone would sing the hook to her whenever she passed, suddenly the bully went to being the bullied :ahh:

wait why does this story sound so fake jdjdjfjd i promise it happened

This being released on the very first day of the 10s feels so right! :clap3:

This album pretty much got me into pop music, even though i dont like it nowadays (i prefer Kesha's music post-Warrior).

I even made a drawing of its cover for its 10th anniversary :1stplace:

I've been revisiting this album a lot lately and I wish more pop stars from the new generation would use it as inspiration. Catchy melodies, danceable beats and carefree/ironically irreverent lyrics are exactly what the world needs right now.

The 1-2-3-(4) punch that is Your Love is My Drug, TiK ToK, Take It Off and Kiss N Tell :gaygacat5:

Truly what Charli XYZ thought she did with RAT
