TomTom Posted Wednesday at 05:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:24 PM On January 1, 2010, Kesha kickstarted the 2010s decade with the release of "Animal". The iconic pop album reportedly serves as inspiration for Kesha's upcoming sixth studio album due to be released this year. 10 1
BlahBlahBlah Posted Wednesday at 05:31 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:31 PM This album is so special, absolute fun and a great balance between trashy pop and really introspective moments. Blind & Dancing with Tears in My Eyes are criminally underrated B O P S as well 4 4
Hey Babes Posted Wednesday at 05:38 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:38 PM Dinosaur was my anthem back then 2
ChooseyLover Posted Wednesday at 05:45 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:45 PM (edited) Her Rockin' Eve set was really fun. I hope her new era goes according to plan cause it seems she's very strategic about it. Apparently Animal being the main inspiration of her new record has a lot to do with starting over on her terms, it's a really interesting concept. And soon enough we'll get re-recordings too. Cheeky Posted Wednesday at 05:56 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:56 PM I loved this album back in the day and enjoyed almost every song on it. Always thought Hungover would have made a great final single especially in a world where BBB wasn't released. BBB made sense at the time with the 3OH!3 feature but it was pretty grating. 3
$ebert Posted Wednesday at 06:06 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:06 PM This album is one of my favorites ever, she has so many amazing songs, TiK ToK, Your Love is my Drug, Take it Off, Stephen, Blah Blah Blah, Party at a Rich Dude's House, Backstabber, Blind, Dinosaur, Dancing with Tears in My Eyes, Animal are my favorites. Jooj Posted Wednesday at 06:22 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:22 PM This being released on the very first day of the 10s feels so right! This album pretty much got me into pop music, even though i dont like it nowadays (i prefer Kesha's music post-Warrior). I even made a drawing of its cover for its 10th anniversary 1

Rico Shameless v2 Posted Wednesday at 07:46 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:46 PM I remember buying the album on iTunes when it dropped. Iconic stuff 2
toughlikeglue Posted Wednesday at 07:54 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:54 PM (edited) I've been revisiting this album a lot lately and I wish more pop stars from the new generation would use it as inspiration. Catchy melodies, danceable beats and carefree/ironically irreverent lyrics are exactly what the world needs right now. The 1-2-3-(4) punch that is Your Love is My Drug, TiK ToK, Take It Off and Kiss N Tell Truly what Charli XYZ thought she did with RAT Edited Wednesday at 07:55 PM by toughlikeglue 1 2
Sad Serenade Posted Wednesday at 10:40 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:40 PM The amount of bops on this album is insane 2
