James_Joint Posted Wednesday at 06:45 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:45 PM She is far too big right now to truly flop as early as this year. Even if she declined and sold half of TTPD, that would still be like 1M+ first week and 3-4 million total units.
Blue. Posted Wednesday at 06:58 PM Posted Wednesday at 06:58 PM No, she will release Reputation and Debut TV while she records TS12, so she will have a strong footing on both Pop and Country this year.
KingWitch Posted Wednesday at 07:02 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:02 PM The only way Taylor Swift has a downfall is if she betrays her fans , all the previous "cancellations" were nothing else but her haters trying to make them happen ,her fans as usual remained loyal .
Acuminatus Posted Wednesday at 08:06 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:06 PM Barring her doing something criminal and getting truly cancelled, her decline is going to be gradual.
Iceland Posted Wednesday at 08:09 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:09 PM No, she could work with Dr. Luke, release a "143"-type album, and she still wouldn't flop. 1
Selegend Posted Wednesday at 08:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:21 PM (edited) The very worst that can happen to Taylor in terms of numbers in the next 5 years is not debuting w/ 1m on REPTV or debuting under Midnights numbers with a new record (i dont think she'll surpass Poets) And thats still bigger than everyone eles in the game so no, its not happening. swiftmania seem to be fading away but her fanbase is SO massive so she's most likely not flopping anytime soon and anyone with common sense can see it Ohhh, And i do think her next album will surpass Midnights debut and that REPTV will debut with more than 1m, i just wrote the very worst that can happen. Insane actually Edited Wednesday at 08:23 PM by Selegend
longjohn9898 Posted Wednesday at 08:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:24 PM She won't flop commercially because her core fan base (mostly run of the mill white women) will eat up whatever she releases. She has already flopped to some degree critically and she lacks the respect and talent of some of her peers, so that is something she can't gain ground on unfortunately. 1 3
BloodLuster Posted Wednesday at 08:32 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:32 PM everyone is perched and waiting for rep TV, even her haters so maybe next year
Aethereal Posted Thursday at 03:13 AM Posted Thursday at 03:13 AM I suppose she will decline in catalog streams and the albums will do less than the last two, but that's about it.
Blade Runner Posted Thursday at 03:23 AM Posted Thursday at 03:23 AM She could lose 70% of her audience and she'd still be bigger than everyone. It's literally a fact lol
MusicLoverDude Posted Thursday at 04:34 AM Posted Thursday at 04:34 AM Unless Donald Trump and Elon Musk try to target her, no.
Chartman Posted Thursday at 04:44 AM Posted Thursday at 04:44 AM We should ask the other way around. Would any of the following be surprising the next year: 1,5 Million debut first week If TS12 is released the lead single hits #1 Billboard top artist of the year 2025 Spotify most streamed artist Apple Music most streamed artist Wins multiple awards at the AMA's, VMA's, BBMA's
Letemtalk Posted Thursday at 05:03 AM Posted Thursday at 05:03 AM She might do even better under the Trump-Musk administration.
Raphy23 Posted Thursday at 05:03 AM Posted Thursday at 05:03 AM 11 hours ago, Achilles. said: I think that half of the reason PTSD had the reception it did is because the mood and content of the music did not fit with people's perception of her current persona—everyone knew about her being happily in love with her himbo guy so an oversized album of gloomy breakup songs came across as incongruous with her circumstances. They want the album of love songs and they are probably going to get it. This. I feel like 2024 was her mid year. 2025 she'll be coming back strong.
Souvenir Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago i mean ttpd was her peak let's be real but no she is here to stay
