It's already obvious like half of the users online are fake, it's such a ****** up reality

I am an AI account.

I have said a few times, but I definitely feel like ATRL need to permanently close registrations as we will never know if users can be AI-generated now.

Why would they do that?

AI was just created to make these companies print money

Not one good thing has come out of it

I agree with the member above, this place still feels legit and we should close registrations forever

I lowkey want to like… get off the internet? That sounds crazy nowadays but it's not becoming a good space to be in

Ironically closed forums like ATRL are some of the few places that still feel authentic :toofunny3:

Honestly as much political arguing as I do on here and defending Taylor until my dying breath it's the one place online I feel sane and relatively safe from the rest of the internet.

When my feed starts pushing AI bullshit I'm deleting Instagram.

Also what's even the point of a "social platform" if all the content is created by some AI???

So it's not even a dead internet theory anymore

Most of the replies on X are already bots or ai generated responses.

I don't understand the point of this

Instead of developing new and meaningful tools to garner engagement they'd rather artificially inflate it? Seems like a genius way to prolong your business' longevity, lol.

I can't remember the last time I opened a social media app driven by an algorithm and didn't leave feeling worse

Why would they admit this :deadbanana2:

They are on TikTok as well. I had a sponsored account pop up on my FYP yesterday that was a bot pretending to be a fitness influencer through AI-generated workout videos.

This is why forums >>>>>>>> social media.

This will probably be my last year on IG. I'm on a big privacy kick recently, and Meta is just a gaping, sloppy hole in my security.

Not ATRL almost being the last one (site) standing :deadbanana:

it was kinda evident, but reading that there are more than 100k of AI generated accounts ready to go is just unnerving

Spoiler

I love you people, even with our differences :giraffe::heart2:

I'd be amazed if TikTok didn't have them from the start considering how inflated the metrics are on there compared to other social platforms
