Nefertiti0 Posted Wednesday at 01:53 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:53 PM No one wants to wake up to the news I woke up to this morning. Columbia has updated the list of their artists and JoJo Siwa is no longer on it https://www.columbiarecords.com/artists/. She was still listed as their artist on December 21st:

B-Luke Posted Wednesday at 02:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:21 PM They really said let's leave her in 2024
ICLDXU4HS Posted Wednesday at 02:26 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:26 PM Not surprised. She's not really brandable as an adult. If she was more self-aware and not so cringy she could try for the Rebecca Black route but she lacks the artistry and excellent taste for that. While Karma was trash, Guilty Please was a bop, though!
TaggedGalaxy Posted Wednesday at 02:44 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:44 PM Mess she had an actual record deal with a major label? 1 1

AshleyLovescats887 Posted Wednesday at 04:13 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:13 PM Damn we really are leaving Jojo Siwa in 2024
Proseductice Posted Wednesday at 04:25 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:25 PM She definitely pissed them off somehow. The thing is she has enough money to be independent anyway considering the amount she invested in her latest releases.
Attitude Posted Wednesday at 05:03 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:03 PM Heard Hollywood Records is looking for new acts. 1
Dancehall Queen Posted Wednesday at 05:09 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:09 PM Gay pop was ahead of its time
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted Wednesday at 05:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:21 PM No one wants to wake up to the news I woke up to this morning. No one. I was preparing my coffee, turning on wi-fi and the first thing I read is: "JoJo Siwa removed from Columbia Records Artist List". I blinked my eyes countless times and I went on Facebook just to see more and more posts about it. I couldn't believe it. My sapphic gay pop dream was over and there I was at 8AM sitting in my kitchen looking at the screen of my iPhone. I know this may sound a bit too much but… Yes. Tears started falling from my eyes and they wouldn't stop. I don't consider this to be an over dramatic reaction like many of you could easily consider. I look at it as unconditional love, dedication and passion. Something unexplainable, no one can translate love into words or even admiration. Some people get your attention and you don't know why. And while I am fully aware that gay pop is not over, we're down to just straight pop, and I also am aware that it's never going to be the same. It doesn't matter if it is Karma or Fighter or... well, some other song of hers. It doesn't. I saw this pop TITAN being born when she was dressed like rainbow brite on Nickelodon. A few years later she turned into a little lesbian getting drunk at Epcot. She created the term "gay pop" and scored two of the most iconic classics of this new decade. I was obsessed and extremely proud of the diva, the doll. I've always been aware that JoJo was not meant to last and I never saw her live but that's fierce if she did perform live. I knew this was a fast career and that's why I spent over $0 on this girl queen. Looking back I am so proud of every single I did for her, which was nothing. She brought back my fan vein in a way I've never experienced before. Britney Spears, Shakira… They're both established artists and it's another story on how their careers are handled. But their careers will never amount to JoJo's. Every JoJo Siwa fan was aware that she was not happy. Ever since "Karma" became the hit of the century, something went wrong and the relationship between JoJo and her label has always been weird. There's indifference and I don't know what to think. Nonetheless, I am no one to judge that. All I want to make clear is: JoJo Siwa is never going to be gaypop queen again and that's why I feel like my dream has been crashed. My dream of the diva singing decade old Miley Cyrus demos has ended. It hurts so bad when you're not prepared. After all she announced... nothing last week. And no. I am not turning my back on JoJo. This was a rough decision but I know what it's like to be in a place where you don't belong or feel included and sometimes... It's better to just go for it. Yet, I always like to see things from the bright side and I am going to always support JoJo Siwa as queen of pop just like any of the other girls. She's had an amazing lack of impact in my life. JoJo, mama, miss thing… Good luck. Queen… Good Luck. Thank You. You've given me the ultimate fan experience and you've been so inspirational. All of you. "I was a bad girl, I did some bad things", she said. "I swear I did it all for fun and it meant nothing". 1
