She can sing well, but is nowhere near Whitney Houston. She can write a song but is nowhere near Joni Mitchell. She can play the piano well but is nowhere near Stevie Wonder. She can dance but is nowhere near Janet Jackson. Some say she can act but she is obviously no Meryl Streep. She can perform well but is no Tina Turner. Nobody has described her like that, but you and your fellow OGH Singing is obviously her biggest talent as she has incredible voice and is one of the most skillful vocalists in terms of technique etc. Edited 18 hours ago by Mariano 4 1

Vocal talent + acting chops + piano skills + dancing + songwriting + performance talent. Not Beyoncé, not Ariana, definitely not Taylor, not Adele and not Katy have the whole package. That along with her enormous peak and longevity is what makes her stand out. 1

What a weird take Shes clearly mastered performing & vocals (no one is at Whitney's level vocally so by that standard, then only she has mastered vocals). We shouldn't be saying people aren't masters just cause they aren't the GOAT in that category. You can also make an argument she's mastered writing depending on how you look at it, with her clearly unique formula to writing Pop songs. Why compare her writing to Joni Mitchell who is vastly different? She's not the best dancer, I'll give you that. But she's good at pretty much everything else. Edited 17 hours ago by Chaos Angel

If she wasn't Lady Gaga the performer, you'd still have Stefani the producer, writer, and composer. Most "pop" stars don't do all that, they don't touch an instrument in the studio or their writing credits are shoved in with 10 other people. "Definitely not Taylor" when Taylor plays guitar AND piano AND while not being an exceptionally talented vocalist, can still sing well WHILE playing instruments and IS an exceptionally talented songwriter. Taylor is arguably more of a "true artist" than any of those mentioned when it comes to involvement in their music. Gaga is certainly a more talented vocalist and has had more success with acting, and can play the piano, but she's been artistically de-railed since 2013, which is why her solo music has been flopping for years now.
