Feanor Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) The timeline of every tour that held the title for biggest concert tour by a female artist ever at some point… $60M - Tina Turner, Break Every Rule World Tour (1987-88) ↓ $133M - Céline Dion, Let's Talk About Love World Tour (1998-99) ↓ $250M - Cher, Living Proof: The Farewell Tour (2002-05) ↓ $411M - Madonna, Sticky & Sweet Tour (2008-09) ↓ $580M - Beyoncé, Renaissance World Tour (2023) ↓ $2.08B - Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour (2023-24) ↓ …? All records are broken/surpassed eventually, as we can see from this timeline. So who do you predict will break Taylor Swift's current claim to the biggest female tour ever? Achilles. Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago The way all 6 of these icons are in my top 40 most played artists. I can't lose. 1
Loca Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago There's no one in the current music landscape who can break that record, otherwise someone would at the very least get close. Did you just make this thread to brag about her achievements? 4
sugarysunflower Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Seeing all the records being broken gradually up until Renaissance to Eras looks in line with inflation until the latter jump tells you the fundamental flaw in the capitalist system and Swift's greed. How can you be relatable yet charging thousands of dollars, or several months rent, per seat. How is that relatable? It's a distinct juxtaposition in Swiftideaology. Anyone even eligible to break the Eras Tour gross will end up being part of a larger investigation or case law on ticket price setting, price fixing, price gouging. With the way inflation is going out of control worldwide at an unprecedented level it is an unsustainable model that many people will be willing to pay for extortionate prices. The only contenders I could even consider is: Celine, Madonna or Beyoncé if they were doing a global, extended farewell tour. 3 4 16
BrokenMachine Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago P!nk took the title from Bey a few weeks before Taylor finally reproted her numbers
Cheers Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Maybe one day we'll have a Latina and an Asian hold the crown. 1

Taylor did not use dynamic pricing which almost all of the industry uses to blow up their tour grosses. If she did, her gross would have blown up into 5B+. Resale prices going for 10k are not included in the 2B gross. Her tickets were cheaper than Beyonce who used dynamic pricing and priced most tickets in populated cities above 600 dollars and barely got 500M. 21 2

That price is literally almost identical - actually a dollar less! - to that of Renaissance, the prior record holder. What you're posting here is a full-on conspiracy theory. 15

Which is difficult to get, not everybody has that to their credit. 97 stadium shows for Summer+autumn* Carnival Tour was only the beggining
Mezik Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I think Olivia or Billie can snatch it. P!nk or Beyoncé if they do a fare well tour. 1

Imaging spewing all this hate, and lies, because you just don't like an artist? Taylor's tickets were on average cheaper than most pop girls and did not charge dynamic pricing. She was not charging in the 'thousands of dollars' for tickets so perhaps fact check before you lie so publicly? 1 4
liam13 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago nobody will surpass taylor's anytime soon. unless bey uses dynamic pricing for a 2 years stadium tour

Others have already skull dragged but, just to add salt to the wound, Eras didn't use dynamic pricing AND is the first tour in history to gross 1 billion dollar even ADJUSTED for inflation. Also obviously the first to two billion. Edited 21 hours ago by DevilsRollTheDice
DevilsRollTheDice Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Also, I don't say this to be messy, but should Renaissance be on this list? Eras just hadn't reported grosses in 2023, it was always ahead. 4 1
