Feanor Posted Friday at 08:19 PM Posted Friday at 08:19 PM (edited) or… or… Who's the new auteur king of horror? Edited Friday at 08:20 PM by Feanor
Khal Posted Friday at 08:27 PM Posted Friday at 08:27 PM Aster has the best film on the list- Hereditary, but also the worst- Beau. I loved Get Out and Us, but didn't like Nope that much. I loved The Witch, The Lighthouse and The Northman, haven't seen Nosferatu yet. So, for me it's probably Eggers>>>Peele>>>>Aster, for now. Top 3: Hereditary, Us (bla bla bla things in the plot don't make sense, idc) and The Witch
bielneira Posted Friday at 08:27 PM Posted Friday at 08:27 PM 'Midsommar' is better than 'Hereditary', but people are not ready for this conversation yet
Vroom Vroom Posted Friday at 08:40 PM Posted Friday at 08:40 PM Heredity, Get Out, Us and The Witch are the only good ones. They are really inconsistent
Uncatena Posted Friday at 08:44 PM Posted Friday at 08:44 PM This is actually hard because all of them have yet to truly disappoint me (though I haven't seen Nosferatu, The Northman was stunning) Hereditary is one of my favorite movies ever, and Eggers is extremely good at a very specific thing, but I think Peele might take this for me. I think I liked every movie of his more than the one before, so he is very consistent. I also think his are the most original movies here.
Antisocialites Posted Friday at 08:48 PM Posted Friday at 08:48 PM Eggers. Get Out, The Witch and The Lighthouse.
Antisocialites Posted Friday at 08:49 PM Posted Friday at 08:49 PM everyone pretending The Northman doesn't exist... exactly.

It's too overrated imo. 'Get Out' is the best one to me, followed by 'Midsommar', then 'Us'.
RideOrDie Posted Friday at 09:37 PM Posted Friday at 09:37 PM Ari >>>>>> i hate Robert's movies, they are so boring, all style over substance. idk if i should bother with nosferatu. 1
commander Posted Friday at 11:14 PM Posted Friday at 11:14 PM I think I enjoy Jordan's movies more but Ari is a close second in my book. Imagine the collapse if they both collaborated
rebeltwat Posted yesterday at 01:07 AM Posted yesterday at 01:07 AM I never got the hype of Get Out. Us and Nope were both better to me. Hereditary and Midsommar are the strongest movies here, but Beau was a mess. I'm seeing Nosferatu tonight. I'm not ranking them
Capris Groove Posted yesterday at 01:10 AM Posted yesterday at 01:10 AM Put Mike Flanagan and Ti West on this list and we got ourselves a deal!
Space Cowboy Posted yesterday at 01:45 AM Posted yesterday at 01:45 AM Peele > Aster > Eggers 1. Hereditary (The Northman) 2. Nope 3. Midsommar 4. Lighthouse 5. Nosferatu 6. Us 7. The Witch 8. Beau is Afraid Beau is Afraid is the worst movie of all time btw. Aster would be #1 for me if it wasn't for that mess. He should be ashamed.
flower moon Posted yesterday at 03:31 AM Posted yesterday at 03:31 AM i dont really think peele makes scary films. love get out. us was good. nope sucked. ari's gory horror is so gross but kinda pretty. beau is realllly bad tho. eggers. great gowns, beautiful gowns
MatiRod Posted yesterday at 05:38 AM Posted yesterday at 05:38 AM Jordan Peele for sure. Ari Aster second place because Hereditary is iconic. Robert Eggers third but maybe Nosferatu will put him over Aster, since Beau is Afraid was a panned flop and Nosferatu is a hit.
Fav Posted yesterday at 09:11 AM Posted yesterday at 09:11 AM The lack of taste Keep fighting about music, cinephiles are safe.
LittleStarmen Posted yesterday at 09:17 AM Posted yesterday at 09:17 AM Ari was industry changing Jordan aswell Eggers is more artsy/dark films but not really horror
