nostalgia Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Lily-Rose Depp's performance in Nosferatu has completely blown people away, especially on Film Twitter, where the GeePee and critics alike are calling it her breakout moment. She's finally shed the "nepo baby" label, proving that she has serious acting chops and can hold her own alongside heavyweights like Saoirse Ronan and Florence Pugh. What sets Lily apart is her ability to slip seamlessly into different roles and time periods, something we've already seen hints of in The Idol. She's clearly nowhere near her peak yet, and it's exciting to imagine where she'll go from here. If she keeps sharpening her skills and stays grounded, there's a good chance she'll not only catch up to Saoirse and Florence but maybe even surpass them.
EnterTheAttic Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Saoirse THEE Ronan can never be ended, but I am so happy for Lily! Can't wait to watch the movie! 1
illia Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago She's incredibly talented. The Idol would've been a perfect breakout moment for her... A shame that the show was shіte
Space Cowboy Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago It's so easy to praise one actor without tearing down others at the same time. Y'all are really obsessed with creating false rivalries. 4

HausOfPunk Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I could tell from the trailer that she was going to be really good. I guess those Depp genes are working.
Jack! Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Happy for her that she's getting praised for this, but I just want to point out that being good at something, or finally proving that you're good at something doesn't shed or magically negate someones nepotism. She'll have that for the rest of her life unfortunately. 1

There's many nepo babies that have proven themselves and made a name for themselves that exceeds or at least equals that of their links to fame.
RussianRoulette Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago But I'm confused, Grace Randolph called her perfomance mid. Did she lie? I know she had questionable takes in the past but I follow her and trust her opinions usually. I guess I'll have to watch the film for myself
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Why would she have to end Saoirse or Florence in order to be considered good? I'm so excited to see this
Relampago. Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I was SHOCKED when the credits rolled and she was the main girl. I didn't recognize her and I hadn't seen her in anything else (didn't watch The Idol for fear of secondhand embarrassment through my fave Abel) so when I saw that she gave THAT performance, I gagged. She was seriously excellent, the fact that possession scene wasn't CGI is insane too. Really great performance and a star of an already amazing movie where it would normally be hard to stand out for even seasoned actors. Claps to her
fememeist Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Now that u compared her to Florence and Saoirse on top of her siding with her abusive dad, i'm rooting for her to flop 1

The point I'm making is they've still got to where they've got to via nepotism, something that might have roadblocked other people in their respective industries because it was easier for nepo babies to connect with the right people. I don't even see it or mean it as a negative anyway. As I say I'm happy for her she's getting praised for this and I've never thought she was a bad actress anyway. And it's not like nepo babies had much of a choice about whose family they were born into.
popmusicisdead Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago why do you have to pit women against each other in every thread? all 3 ladies ended Nightb!tch star, Amy Adams and that's all that matters
