Maybe it's because I'm getting older and it's hard if not impossible to connect with younger artists other than a few songs here and there. But I also feel like this shift to relatability doesn't lend itself for big flashy pop moments either. A Toxic, Bad Romance, Disturbia etc don't make sense in today's climate but that's exactly what is missing. There's no fantasy anymore, it's all reality. Edited 3 hours ago by dumbsparce 2
