But even within those stats, there's still room for the opposing side and even error, so again—PEA BRAIN s:wan:

Her making it about her fashion instead of the message, she thought this was her barbie moment and showed her true self, nothing will change that.

granted i think they are both probably trash people but it's kind of …… insanely coincidental ? that the day the lawsuit gets announced there's already an extensive NYT article about it that's bad for him/good for her ?

Both parties engaged in smear campaigns against each other. Blake simply lost the pr battle, and now she's suing because her privileged self cannot accept not getting her way for once.

Ding ding ding.

Because Blake and her husband's PR team leaked it to NYT. This is an exclusive...they are utilizing a smear campaign against Justin to bury him. Isn't it ironic? The emails from Blake's PR team to this NYT journalist is gonna be funny during the discovery.

I wonder which ATLRers were paid to destroy her image on the forum because she doesn't seem very popular in here.

Why is Blake stirring the pot now when the world had moved on from this drama? It's been months. :biblio:

My guess is that callbacks are nonexistent :celestial5:

I'm curious about ATRL's general consensus on this confrontation

This is not related to a #MeToo movement, it's literally a "I want to see you suffer". Watch Blake's PR build this case around women standing up and fighting back.  Plus, it appears certain actions were taken out of context like Baldoni asking for her weight; apparently he had to hold her in his arms or something. Then again, constantly talking about how many girls you had sex with or the crew's genitalia could be quite problematic… I can't help you with that sis Baldoni.

if you read the NYT article, that was the agreed upon plan for promoting the movie between the studio, producers and marketing team. Justin only did a 180 when he noticed the backlash Blake started to get for promoting the movie that way.

I still have no idea how she was able to get his text messages though.

Im not taking any sides til more comes out, but is Justin Baldoni really powerful enough to go against a nepo baby and her powerful husband Ryan Reynolds? It's not like Johnny Depp in this case.

You should read the article. His production company has investment from a billionaire

Quote

Mr. Baldoni, 40, and Mr. Heath, 55, had a lot riding on the film, which is based on a best-selling novel by Colleen Hoover.

Mr. Baldoni was best known for the CW satirical romantic dramedy "Jane the Virgin." Wayfarer provided the resources for bigger ambitions. It was bankrolled by the billionaire Steve Sarowitz, who is co-chair of the studio with Mr. Baldoni. They and Mr. Heath, the chief executive, are all deeply involved with the Baha'i religious organization, which promotes unity, peace and gender equality. Mr. Baldoni has presented himself as an ally to women, writing books, co-hosting a podcast with Mr. Heath and giving talks on toxic masculinity.

1- Did you read the article?

2- Did you read her claims that he sexually harassed her?

3- Do you have sympathy for women, or for victims of harassment?

i feel like this will most likely backfire on her (even if the allegations are true) or won't do much but let's see…

You don't have to lol. This thread is meant for those who are actively engaging with or at least mildly invested in this feud. :cm:

It's pretty clear that Blake has the moral upper hand in this situation; you're never going to get me to side with someone who ran to the same crisis management agency as JDepp. I don't really have a personal investment in this feud and I find Blake to be pretty insufferable but  Justin was up to some shady sh*t and tried to flood the zone with unfavorable stories about Blake to save himself.

the NYT story is pretty damning for Baldoni... which isn't surprising in hindsight knowing self-appointed "nice guys" are usually THE WORST.

but also I would never say I support Blake "got married on slave plantation" Lively :deadbanana4:

at the end of the day, it's a **** book turned into a **** movie turned into a **** press tour turned into a **** show.
