She did try to stop this while it was happening. Literally on the second day of filming, she asked for a meeting with the CEO of the producing studio to prevent further misconduct from happening.

And yet, that CEO also violated her privacy and made another misconduct while they were talking about Justin's misconduct, because both he and Justin own the studio! The fish was rotten from the head down.

 

This is not a simple 'he said, she said' feud with "a close source said abc". Blake had official complaints to even Sony the distributor during filming. She had paper trails and receipts with other people to corroborate her, as she was also fighting for the protection of her employee, her fellow cast and crew. The only one who seems like he likes the "push and pull" here is Justin, which is extremely gross since he's married with child. And yet he's the one going around showing his wife's naked body while she was giving childbirth on video with other people on set!

The blatant lies of her saying they were just joking when they were: 

- Talking about how they planted articles in tabloids to destroy Blake's reputation.

- Talking about their work with journalists to edit and rewrite those articles.

- Talking about them pulling articles that mention the sexual assault allegations.

- Celebrating that he got away with it unscathed.

- Hiring an astroturfing firm and talking about the work they're doing on Reddit.

- Giving orders to the astroturfing firm to go harder on Blake and her marriage every time there was a chance something about the sexual harassment came out. 

 

All she did was confirm that those text messages are real .

Blake's on a kamikaze mission at this point because the Baldoni smear campaign unearthed PR nightmare problems that had nothing to do with what he attempted to frame and make up on his own and existed prior to them ever meeting.

 

Baldoni's career is over as it should be.

 

Blake will go back to hawking products on QVC while raising the kids of a rich man because she certainly can't go on the motivational speaking circuit in a #MeToo context but instead can stay resentful she was never able to transition to dramatic roles effectively, at least by critical awards and reception.

Regardless of her intentions or what really happened, I'm so glad she exposed the campaign against her. She's not the only celeb women who went through an odd barrage of hate on the internet this year for largely unserious or misleading reasons. This general conversation should've happened much earlier, but better late than never
