T.O.A.D.S. Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) The record had been set for a March 2015 release, with the first single to be released on Valentine's Day. However, after a flurry of unexpected album content leaks, Madonna released Rebel Heart for pre-order on the iTunes Store on December 20, 2014, with six songs made available immediately for download. A police investigation led to an Israeli man being arrested and charged with hacking into Madonna's computer and leaking the songs. The album's artwork became popular on social media, leading to numerous memes being created. Madonna said: "I was hoping to release my new single 'Living For Love' on Valentine's Day with the rest of the album coming in the Spring. I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating. Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift." Dragonfly Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I remember that mess And then Björk's Vulnicura leaked shortly after
MP3 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I was so happy with these first 6 songs I remember! I was obsessed with Living for Love and Devil Pray. After Confessions I think Rebel Heart was the most exiting era, so much visuals, so much promo, it was great 1
TeeJay Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago her 3rd best album. It's so good, has a few tracks that needed to be cut but overall, a great album.
ICLDXU4HS Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago her 2nd worst album. It's so bad, has a few tracks that were quite nice but overall, an abominable album. 1 5
Bubble Tea Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago One of her best 00s albums tbh. It's the last time she went HARD with album promo and performances. She was everywhere and the tour was huge. 1

808dream Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The way most demos were great and sounded better than what was officially released
Young In Love Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago ahh it was such an exciting time! as horrible as it was for the material leaking, i remember feeling cool af walking around the city and blasting the unreleased songs in my earpods as a teenager Rebel Heart will always have a special place in my heart 1
Chris Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Again, I think Rebel Heart is underrated and not as bad as people say it is. Does it have some clunky tracks? Yes. But it also does have some solid tracks as well in my opinion. Let me get my licks in and say it's WAY better than FagDNA and Madame Fxg that's for sure hihi. 1 1
Kota Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Forever mourning the Avicii versions of Rebel Heart/Wash All Over Me and what could have been
Alongoria13 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 10 years…damn Not gonna lie she missed out on two hits thanks to the leaks, Wash All Over Me in particular.
Jack! Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I remember thinking the leaked version of Illuminati was so good, and then when this dropped and I hit play, well...
Leppie Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I'm so nostalgic for this album. Honestly the last era I got really excited for
PaloSanto Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago It's so strange how ***** I'm Madonna didnt become a holidays classic. Shame!
Popboi. Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago One of the most weird, exciting, puzzling and hilarious moments to be in the fandom Madonna laying a slight gasp as everything was leaking around her and said "time to finish the damn album", only to end up making multiple drafts afterwards that leaked too. 33 minutes ago, Alongoria13 said: 10 years…damn Not gonna lie she missed out on two hits thanks to the leaks, Wash All Over Me in particular. Pretty sure the 3 singles were chosen in advance so WAOM had no chance to be one in either original form or the released one wbk she wanted LFL for Valentine's, BIM was an extremely obvious single and Ghosttown was a breath of fresh air, especially being a single between those two.
blown away Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago One of her best albums post 2000. She seemed so passionate about it and it shows on a lot of those songs. Living For Love, Devil Pray, Ghosttown, Hold Tight, Joan Of Arc, Messiah, Wash All Over Me are all great songs and Beetch I'm Madonna, Iconic, Unapologetic Beetch and Holy Water are fun bops. I hope her next album is of the same level of quality.
SlowGinFizzzz Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Ghosttown and B*tch I'm Madonna remain career highlights, Devil Pray and Unapologetic B*tch are fun too. Living For Love could've been great had she not picked this awful version, let alone as the lead single. However, the main problem with Rebel Heart is that the second half of the album is really, really weak aside from Holy Water. Edited 3 hours ago by SlowGinFizzzz
