Don't get me wrong, I enjoy TikTok & have found a lot of entertainment & resourceful content on the app, but Shou coming through with the blatant PR for the same person who introduced this ban in the first place is absolutely corny. The amount of people I'm seeing fall for this & sing praises for Trump just gives me so little hope for what's to come, but thank goodness there are a considerable number of others still calling it out for the fakery this is.

More people should. I cannot stand most of the disputes going on over this. 

 

I love to lash a Democrat and I love calling out Republican hypocrisy, but people treating Tiktok like a benign and wholesome entity is just awful. Especially after whatever backend deal Trump cooked up.

As AI ramps up and powered with Tiktok's lovely algorithm, I cannot WAIT to see where we go from here. 

And yeah, I do think Tiktok going is by far a net good for society. I'm so sorry to those who make a living off the app, but that's the same argument people use to justify bending over for miners and frackers in PA every election season, while our Earth cooks us alive.

Why is Tiktok the only problem? Why does this matter after Israel basically already accomplished its goals and the ceasefire is going through? Why are we not asking ourselves these questions instead of forming narratives to support our own beliefs?
