During his first term, there were checks in place at the federal level as well as on these platforms. Now the leaders of these companies are actively working with him to make themselves and him wealthier than ever. It was the lesser evil. Now the world's most powerful algorithm and most popular app is now the US's biggest propaganda machine. It bears repeating that any time Republicans and Democrats are suddenly in agreement and fighting for the same thing, that should raise a trillion red flags. 3 6

Tik Tok in the US as we know it is over, and because of that, there is no real point in trying to save it.
