i'm happy for her if that's what she wants to do. she has an immaculate catalogue of music already for someone so relatively young into their career. it goes without saying the past 6-7 years of her life have been a whirlwind and incredibly difficult for her , and if acting is what makes her happy right now she needs to explore that !

I don't mind if she has a break, as long as she comes back with her BEST ALBUM. ES came close but it was soured by those tiktok length songs. At least we got WCBF

Can we really blame her though ? One movie role and not only the movie is a success but she has received more accolades as an actress than she did in her music career. Also she seems to be happier now.

She didn't say no new music. She said no tour. But even if she weren't releasing another album for a few years, she just put out on album with three videos and multiple live performances THIS YEAR.  And that's on top of filming and press for two movies plus two SNL appearances. A few years between albums is literally a normal break. She gives her fans way more than most artists do, and somehow they're still so unappreciative.
