Is the Kardashian/Jenner Clan's domination over?

Now obviously they all still have their successful businesses, especially Kim.

But throughout the 2010s it seemed like the entire family was A-list: They set fashion & makeup trends, young girls tried to look like Kylie & Kendall (remember the Kylie lip challenge?), their family drama always went viral, people were obsessed with their video games, people would use their gifs etc. etc.. Basically there was constantly something new in the Kardashian/Jenner world and the public was tuned in.

But nowadays, it feels like Kim is really the only one who's still being talked/written about, but even that's not on the same level as back in the day.

And as for the other sisters, it's like no one cares about them anymore.

Is the Kardashian/Jenner Clan's domination over for good?

I feel like Kim will always remain relevant and apart of the zeitgeist with how popular SKIMS is and her newfound acting career, but all the other girls fizzled out quickly and will fade into complete irrelevancy as the years go on.

Yeah, I don't hear about them very often nowadays. Good riddance.

Trends changed, they tried to adapt but it felt disingenuous. They can't sell the clean girl aesthetic with chill/relatable personality, Bella and Hailey have kinda stolen their spot as the social media it girls.

I mean yes ? They're older but they are still relevant I swear every year people keep saying they're over

They've been irrelevant for the last couple years

I only hear about Kim every now and then in a negative way

I think the Hadid girls are more relevant definitely but they are not a dominant force anymore either

If you look at Google trends (which isn't a super scientific metric but it's something) searches using the keywords "Kardashian", "Kim Kardashian", "Khloe Kardashian", and "Kris Jenner" have been down since the 2nd half of 2022 and "Kylie Jenner" has been on a constant decline since March 2024. So it looks like that's the case, but also every time it seems like they're done some dumbass scandal pushes them back into the limelight :deadbanana2:

I feel like the general public doesn't react as well to wealth flaunting by celebrities on social media as they used to either. Since that was a big part of their brand, that might also play a role into their declining popularity.

it feels like it has been over for years, i only ever see the occasional thing about kim now

I feel like I haven't heard of them ever since Kim broke up with Pete Davidson

Nobody even seems to care that Kylie is dating Timothee Chalamet

I hope so. I tried to avoid the news about them in the media in the past but it was so saturated it was impossible. I am not interested in reading about them, their drama and ventures.

They lasted longer than most social media fads anyway, they can retire in peace

No, they just won. They have tons of money and will keep making more it, and they have access to all of the powerful institutions they sought out to be accepted by.

This. I do think they can make a comeback.

But I'm happy their dominance is finally over (at least for now)

The less we know about them the better :clap3:

They've been irrelevant for like 5 years now. But it's not like there's anyone who took their spot either bc the days of monoculture are completely over. They were actually the very last ones that most ppl aged 15 - 60 years old knew of.

Been over. Unless you were someone who totally bought into them and their brand, I feel like most people were just confused as to why they were famous anyway. And once their decline started- for multiple reasons- they had nothing to fall back on.

i think so! kim's leggings and bras brand is kinda popping off rn but it can very well be a last hurrah

but also, their imperial phase was a moment. in 2015-2016 when Kim basically transferred the crown to Kylie and a Kardashian renaissance started…

there WILL be books and documentaries and the parallels between parasitic royal families and them will be incredible. :WAP:kinda a stain in America's modern history

They're boring and do nothing but shill products. What's left to enjoy about them?

Kim will be everywhere once Trump is in office.

Club Chalamet had a mental breakdown because of that relationship.

Yup, that's why they've been hard to replace (remember how hard The D'amelio's tried in 2020-2022?) and still somewhat relevant even if they aren't as dominant.

They have done it all. They literally changed the world, heavily impacted the beauty standards globally and were literally the most famous family for two decades.

No one served mess and drama like they did, but they aren't so messy anymore. So.. A decline was due

I don't see them being gone gone for at least five more years.

Regardless, the damage is done
