We love main pop girl, but this forum (myself included) don't stan the men like we do the women. Scientifically, why?

I am not sure. I listen to far more men than women, but only a handful of them are within pop.

I feel there really aren't that many male pop artists who are mainstream. We have The Weeknd, Harry Styles, Shawn Mendes (although obviously his album didn't do well), Bruno Mars, Troye Sivan...and only a few more. While we have tons and tons of female mainstream pop artists.

lowkey though i don't trust gays who don't listen to male artists  i remember I went to a gay club once and this white gay was being INSUFFERABLE bc he heard a rap verse by a male artist on a song and its like ma calm down it ain't that serious

I'd say that scenario is as bad as men who refuse to listen to women singers

You gotta shoot pop stan communities bail for the past decade because men have not been active Pop stars like that, they're in other genres.

What song was it because I can recall several women led songs with rap features that vastly improve the track.

There are very few pop stars, and some like the weeknd are mostly r&b and trap that crossed over to pop

Bc most if not all of them are boring and give no concepts aside from sad boy hours or their whole schtick is being shirtless. Tbh the only one giving any type of concepts is Lil Nas X but he's annoying ah and his music is not up my alley
