TTPD is my favourite among the worst reviewed albums this year. Don't like any in the top 10

It's crazy how far Julian Casablancas has been falling in the past few years... he may have gotten a Grammy, but that record wasn't all that acclaimed. Plus, the divorce and dating a random 19 year old groupie, saying the music he makes with The Strokes isn't who he truly is but the panned messed from The Voidz is... then putting AI slop on the cover

I thought The Voidz album was actually enjoyable and the reception was unfairly marred by the controversy over the use of AI to create the cover art 

 

I mean it's a conversation worth having but I found it odd how much criticism they faced and how strongly it affected the response compared to others who have done the same

Music critics are very nice nowadays since panning an album means the fandom will harass you, so even if you despise an album you give it a cute 6.

16 years after debuting and still scoring number ones  miss perry proved me wrong
