'Endless Summer Vacation' above 'Radical Optimism' in BB200 YE chart. Why?

2024 Billboard 200 Year-End Chart:

175. Miley Cyrus - Endless Summer Vacation

194. Dua Lipa - Radical Optimism

https://www.billboard.com/charts/year-end/top-billboard-200-albums/

I kept getting told by dua stans about how she is selling out stadiums and touring her album this year meanwhile Godley is chilling at home effortlessly collecting prestigious award nominations. Not to mention Dua's album was released this year so it was novel and still ended up below ESV.

Did plastic hearts get avenged? What can the Prisoner stealer do to salvage this era?

Discuss.

Dua is British and Miley is American and has been around since Hannah Montana days, Dua is International.

I was pretty critical of Endless Summer Vacation when it was released, especially as a follow up to the pretty bulletproof Plastic Hearts, but I have since gone back to it and have found a lot of appreciation in it.

Flowers impact I would assume

But don't let this distract us from FN being higher than both at #126

But I thought our fandom was clinging onto Flowers for everything?

We're talking about recent albums here. When is your fandom gonna stop clinging onto FN??

Not a drag on Miley - her success the past few years has been well deserved and overdue - but I think it goes without saying that one song was so huge that it kept an otherwise unsuccessful and middling album (sans Violet Chemistry :katie2:) afloat, exemplified by the other singles sadly going nowhere and promotion ceasing.

What's the point of this thread? Who's flopping harder?

It is a solid album, it just has its duds. If she had left out Wonderwoman and Wildcard , and had instead put in Taste of My Own and ****** Up Forever, it would've been 10/10, up par with PH tbh.
