Update: Sexual assault case against Jay-Z dismissed

It's so obvious the victim is being taken advantagen of by this crook lawyer. He is a raging racist MAGA using this to take down Jay cause he probably wants to humble him for being too rich and powerful for a black man.

This thread has turned into "Eras VS Renaissance world tour: more impact?" but make it dark :rip:

If this story has been fabricated from scratch, I'm buffled at how they didn't think it out all the way through. The inconsistencies are major and can not be attributed to her being a young child 24 years ago. Surely they'd make sure to not leave such huge plot holes in, just waiting to be discovered, which is why I'm not quick to dismiss the whole thing either. Sth fishy is going on from the alleged victim's side but I don't think she hasn't gone through sth deeply traumatic either.

This thread :skull:

Personally finding the reaction to the details of her story interesting.

Anyway.

Some of the comments in this thread are bizarre, and the worst part is seeing a few members creating some sort of "parallel reality" hoping that these accusations are true just to use it as an argument on stan tt against fan bases.

MJ bought his freedom, Jay-Z will too. Obama's pal obviously won't fall down no matter how connected he is to criminals like R kelly and P Diddy.

What's embarrassing are the 15 notifications I got from you downvoting every comment I've made in the last 24 hours on this forum. Give my notifications a rest, sis!

Dead at this OBH and the rest of OBHs all of the sudden want to stand up for a rape victim even though her stories have proven to have not a singular hole, but HOLESSSSSSSS! I have to laugh and I think the MODS should ban all of them for using such serious matter to fuel their hate agenda on an artist they have been hating for DECADES. Like PLAY THE VICTOM, TAYLORS STAN!

Plenty of people are defending an accused rapist, and rather quickly, because of 1) who their spouse is and 2) because they are using uber-wealth and aggressive Trump-like defense moves.

We have people calling a 13 year child who claims to be sexually assaulted a liar because she called it a mansion rather than a townhouse? Perhaps to a young child, a townhouse really was perceived as a mansion? A 13 year old child who was traumatized maybe forgetting details 24 years ago?! LIAR!!!

Let's take the side of the man with a known, documented history of abuse and disrespect to woman.

ETA - WHY IS A THIRTEEN YEAR OLD CHILD EVEN FAMILIAR WITH DIDDY AND JAY-Z?!

!!!

If you did not hate beyonce with every fibre of your being, you would not say this. This is all a stan war to you.

We do not believe her because how do you say your father drove 5 hours to pick you up and another 5 hours to take you back and that same father COMPLETELY DENIES IT.

That is a major red flag. She spoke confidently about speaking to 2 people who were not even at the VMAS.

You can't make a vile accusations with so many inconsistencies and ruin someone's life.

I really want you to stop being a dement** stan for 4 seconds and use your brain or whatever is left of it.

Lmfao maybe because they were two of the biggest celebrities in the world in 2000?  You're willing to sound completely foolish in the interest of pushing the narrative you want.

This turn of events is crazy :rip: I'll admit I was concerned about these allegations when they came out and I definitely overreacted to the news. I was one of those divorce immediately people.

But this taught me to just let things unfold before jumping to conclusions. As it should always be. I continue to be neutral on Jay Z as an individual but it's absolutely disgusting to have someone accuse you of a crime for money. And not just any crime but the rape of child. That's so beyond the pale. Buzbee should be disbarred for this. And sued to hell and back.

And as everyone here has said to the members that were reveling at the notion of Jay z and Beyoncé going "down" for this are completely malicious and delusional. Ban worthy imo. To use this as some kind of ammunition for stan wars is sick.

I'm very interested to learn how much of this was just old-fashioned extortion on the part of Buzbee. It sounds like he had a blank space on that lawsuit and was willing to fill it with any name, finally landing on the richest rapper in town. As if that was ever going to work. That's simply not how Jay-Z does business. The minute you contacted that man, he was willing to take it to hell.

An inconsistency is like, misremembering the color of a building or model of a car, or saying something took 20 minutes when it was actually 40. Stuff you wouldn't think a traumatized girl would remember. She said "I may have made a mistake in identifying" one of the Maddens. That's not a mistake of identification. She referenced a specific conversation, about a feature this celebrity has, which is a tattoo and that straight up never happened. The person was nowhere near New York at that time. The maddens are famous (more so at that time) but not so famous that the GP knows their tattoos. So how could she misremember meeting this person she's a fan of, at this event, and having this specific conversation? It just doesn't make sense.

That lady had 24 years to come up with something that makes sense :deadbanana4: and I overreacted to this news. NOT defending Jay in anyway. That story couldn't be any more stupid though, like seriously. She could have at least googled who was all there before spewing unnecessary details about someone who was hundreds of miles away from NYC at the time. And then the father having no memory about the 5 hours drive he made to pick up his stranded daughter in NYC on a school night  :deadbanana4: She was better off saying she took a greyhound to and from. That fraudulent lawyer should feel so embarrassed by all of this. I'm not ruling her out as a rape victim either, but she doesn't seem to recall much of anything and it's highly likely that she's misidentifying him. Poor thing.

guys I've been scrolling tiktok tonight and 3 separate Ads (they had the 'Ad' label) from the official Roc Nation account have appeared on my feed, each one calling this girl out as a liar. so they're literally paying to put them vids on ppl's feeds.

is that even legal? :deadbanana:

It's so weird to be celebrating the downfall of a man you don't even know.

anyway this is sad, hopefully he can reach an amicable (very large) settlement with the victim if he's guilty.

This is a very strong statement. I kinda want to believe him, but maybe I'm biased.

He doesn't strike me as a pedo. At all.

the way I got downvoted for these and now it turns out the whole story was likely fabricated :rip:

the way certain people decided he was guilty before we even got the facts is SICK :pukey:

What are they supposed to do? Let idiots ruin their entire reputation based on wishful thinking?

I haven't seen anything like that, which is weird bc I usually have anything Beyoncé-related all over my feed, but good for them. I'm sure they've been well-advised by their lawyers.
