It's such a shame none of her music has resonated. She's an undeniable talent, and I would've thought she'd been the Bey/Harry of the group.

She actually put on a Show, with capital S. I love the confidence and persistence in making her craft valuable.

 

The vocals were top-notch, and she also managed to keep great stage presence.

 

To think she was seen as the weaker dancing and now she's pulling big vocals AND a bit of choreo with no strains … she needs to keep pushing. Too much talent to be overlooked.

She's a great singer, we all know this, she just needs better songs. If she was releasing this sort of music in like 2011 I could see it smashing, but these mid faceless pop tunes aren't what people want at the moment.

 

Forget About Us and You Go Your Way are both okayish but I can't get over how boring Tears is. I genuinely can never make it to the end of that song. Her first good song being a random Christmas track is so funny though

The material may have not been the best, but it's great to see all 3 are interesting and well rounded performers even when solo

 

Wish Jade did Jingle Bell Ball too but she must be too busy finishing stuff for the album

Thankfully she said yesterday she's returned back to the studio and made more music and has some more sessions planned.

 

Maybe her label told her to go back to the studio, but i'm not complaining!

yes, agreed. I never doubted these three would slay with their solo efforts but Jade is coming in especially strong. her Jools Holland performances were everything.

 

Perrie needs better songs. Leigh and Jade both are carving their own lane, while Perrie's singles so far indicate less of an artistic vision — something more akin to Tate Mc-territory at best.

I'm not really a fan of any of the girls music. I like Perrie slightly more than the other girls. 
 

I so far have only liked midnight cowboy from jade. I only liked my love from Leigh Anne's (couldn't stand her ep) . I like FAU and GYW from Perri.  
 

ironically only song I've really enjoyed from any of them was Boyz until that live performance.

Isn't she with Columbia? I need her to get Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson on the phone right now. I know they'll help her write some good music that matches her and her personality. She has the talent to back it up.

just because her solo music doesn't catch up with GP doesn't mean she's bad. She's actually one of the best performer out there and she's shining more as a solo artist.

That's one of the best live vocal performances she's delivered in years, she was incredible, it sounded like most if not all of the high notes were live too? I know she sometimes dodges them.
