Would a one-hit wonder lie?

Spoiler

Yes. Absolutely.

It was probably someone that works for him saying that him praising the album would be good PR for him, since the album was a big story when it came out. Why in the world would Beyoncé want approval from this person

This lol. Beyonce doesn't need to pay people to talk about her. It sounds like it was a suggestion from a manager or publicist in order for him to get press, not the other way around.

I don't understand why people have to be so loud about what they don't like, especially when it's this over the top :toofunny2:  You don't have to like it, but you also don't have to spread hate!

Someone needs to remind these so-called Christians that God created people of color.

Did they want to be pulled away from their lives to do menial and backbreaking work in America? No, they did not.

Therefore, this guy needs to respect and understand the rich, multiethnic tapestry of modern America and how it came to be and he needs to stop being a stupid sanctimonious redneck!

Not this MAGA rat. He always sounds like he's operating with exactly one struggling brain cell.

Spoiler

Her cover of Jolene is awful though, worst moment on CC by far. It sounds good but those lyrics are the cringiest thing she's recorded in a while. I still wish she would've just covered the original as is, she would've done a good job.

He didn't lie about the Jolene cover, but she makes up for it on Daughter, which is amazing.

He can't sing lol

I mean, he didn't lie. I'm curious as to how anyone thinks Bey's version of Jolene, for example, does anything other than bastardize the experience of the original song. Same thing can be said for the whole listening experience of CC, it just feels like a dynastically wealthy pop star wearing country music like an outfit and pretending to be something she's not.

Rank ass album, I can't believe it got nominated for anything at the Grammys. :pillowfight:
