Are they still milking Juice WRD's demos?:deadbanana:

Excellent hold for Wicked. It doesn't seem to have a hit on its hands but it should be a fixture in the Top 10 for a while. I wonder if it has enough family appeal to snatch a #1 during the Xmas freeze?

Oh that's not…

Another week over 100k for Wicked?! :WAP:

When can we expect a "Taylor blocks her former collaborator Kendrick from #1. She's not a girl collaborator's girl!" thread? :alexz2:

Her team could've split those sales in two so we could get to 17 weeks at #1. Now it's sold out in many places :monkey:

Now I feel spoiled for feeling like 388k is low but I swear they could have done better

I'm so used to the slaying that I'm not even that impressed with this number, but has any other album this year even debuted with higher numbers than this?:dies:

Friendly reminder that TTPD has spent more weeks at number 1 on the Billboard 200 than the career totals of any artist on the greatest pop star of the 21st century list aside from Drake and Adele :WAP:

Oh Tortured ATRLers Department, smashing will always look amazing on you!

that ranking isn't based on just stats so this is relevant why?

Exactly, why was my first thought "aww man, so close to 400k" :deadbanana4:

I think we need to book a couple's room at chart obsession detox rehab :gaycat4:

They need to let Juice WRLD rest... It's just disrespectful and diluting his catalog at this point.

Glad to see Nat King Cole & Sinatra, my crooners.

I know. Issa joke.

If she's doing 360k pure, shouldn't the total units be around 400k? I doubt she's only doing 22k of SEA

Also Wicked barely decreasing :jonny5: I think it could snatch the #1 the last week of December or early January like Encanto did

Good to see Black Friday being used as a strategic tool.
Good decision on her team's end, overall. These numbers are UNMATCHED!

Too bad the sales don't translate into Critical Praise and multiple generations resonating with the songs.
Not to mention the streaming STALLED for this too. I wonder why though, such numbers lead to one thinking people are interested in streaming too?
Also, how many singles does this album have on Hot100 atm, srs question?

---

Oh and if its something to influence Grammy votes, I hope the voters realise this
and don't fall for the old ''Album-Selling-like-Hot-Cakes'' schtick, her team is trying to pull and AOTY is given to a DESERVED nominee.

Imagine if her team had pressed more vinyl :skull:  They are sold out everywhere

Now drop the vinyls in *all* vinyl stores, we would need to *block* the no.1 next week too :fan:

She's selling the vinyl on Friday in many record stores. Check your local stores as most already have had the preorder page up since last week. EDIT: This is the Anthology that is. I don't know if those count towards the standard sales?

The ball's in your court boo, I'll bring some print-outs of the Billboard article about Evermore's first week for our first therapy session:pillowfight:

(please Target Corporation put like 12k more on the shelves I'm begging)

I'll fight to hold back my "it was a digital and streaming only week" and "that was after Billboard changed tallying to the week of shipment" comments and we can talk about the merit of the art without the numbers attached :biggrin2:

TayKhiaism would be good for us tbh :gaycat4:

@TargetCorp don't make me fly to Minneapolis and make the point in your face :biggrin2:

You do realize it's the most streamed album of the year on every streaming platform, right..? :suburban:

I think she is keeping some supply back to squeeze out another 2-3 #1 weeks. I don't think she would bother printing less than 500K.

Taylor's selling power is truly out of this world. :deadbanana:

Didn't expect Wicked to hold that strong? Another 100k units? Wtf. :DWAS:

Posted

Wicked doing another 100K units omg.

I wonder why Kendrick's label didn't prepare any physicals.
